This might be a dumb question but can I attend the WashU Wednesdays with my camera off and just listen in?

in my interview I remember them saying something about this February A wave being mostly MDPhD. Does anyone else remember that?
Yes they said that in mine too. Hard to say what it really means… I guess we might just have to wait until March, but who knows

Anyone have any insight on the timeline to hear back. For people interviewing in January, are decisions rolling or does it seem like we are waiting until March alongside some of the other heavy-hitter schools that aren't rolling.

Wishing you all luck, the light at the end of the tunnel is approaching.

I am pretty sure I failed the recorded video interview... Does anyone know how much this counts towards decisions?

Does anyone know if we have to attend the "conversation with admissions leadership" on the day of our interview or can we do it another day that week? Also is it business attire?

I attended a different day, and it's casual

I have an upcoming interview and I was just wondering if the interview day takes the whole day? I know it says to be available the whole day but since all of the info sessions etc are on different days was just wondering 🙂 thanks!

No it doesn't! Depending on when you schedule it, you'll have free pockets here and there. I also had like the other events on a different day so it was like 4 hours of stuff spread out over 2 days sporadically if that helps!

Congrats on still getting II!

do the "why washu wednesdays" attendance factor into admissions decisions? I've alr had my interview and i'm a washu undergrad so i'm trying to figure out if it's worth my time... I have a lot of the info alr so i would go if it was influential in admissions decisions

Just my 0.02, and I have no inside look in admissions decisions. But the fact that they opened the Why WashU Wednesdays to all students who’ve applied (instead of all who’ve interviewed as it was in the past), means they probably don’t track. However I’d try to attend at least one.

Is it okay to look at notes that I wrote down during the prep time for the Kira? I kind of assumed it was just from Casper experience and realized that I definitely glanced down a few times during my responses. But now I can't find any solid guidance on it from the directions or anything.....ahhghhh

Yes I think it's totally okay! I wouldn't think they'd let you write down notes if you weren't allowed to reference them... when I did it, I def looked over at them, but I think it just looks like natural eye movement while thinking and talking

How do I make it abundantly clear to adcoms that I am absolutely head over heels in love with this school 😭 I already wrote a very strong letter of interest several weeks ago, would it be a bit much to write another one?

Write a letter directly to Dr. Ratts - a few applicants did it over the last few cycles and all the ones I've seen received an A. High risk high reward I suppose.

Has anyone gone to a meet the students session? I logged on on Tuesday for it at 8:00 and by 8:25 when it said the host had not started the meeting, I left. I am again logged on trying to join but its 8:05 and same thing....? did this happen to anyone else?

Happened to me, but they had one today. I'm guessing they will have more sessions next Tuesday or Thursday as well.

Is Feb 12th certainly MD/PhD decisions only, or is there a chance of MD? When I interviewed they didn’t mention anything about MD/PhD only but I saw some posts about that earlier

yeah super long shot but I hope Jan interviewers will hear then

Was wondering the same thing. Interviewed MD only late November and didn’t hear on December decision day so was hoping this date would be the one

Early Dec interviewed already got A in Dec26 wave? Good for who’s already got A, not too good for someone also interviewed in early Dec. hopefully different interviewers submitted their interview comments at different times and delayed the A from Dec26 wave.
