+1 OOS II Very excited! As stated by someone else, update letter seemed to help!
Congrats!!! I was wondering for your update letter how did you send it over? The portal updates say to only have 500 characters including spaces. Is that really all the amount of characters/words you used or were you able to email over a letter?

I sent in a 500 character update as well as a publication update. Essentially I split it into two topical updates since you can select the category. Hope that helps

Would it be impolite to send an email asking if there is an earlier interview date like if someone cancels theirs? The earliest my portal showed when I signed up was early April and I'm kinda worried that it is so late in the cycle. I don't want to come off as unappreciative though.

Did you explain details of the publication in the update letter? Add a statement of intent at the end too? Considering doing this

Hello everyone, I'm prepping for my interview by beginning the check-in and practicing for the Kira assessment. Does anyone know if adcoms will see the practice? I don't want to jump into a suit for a practice if it's something they won't see.

The practices are not seen by adcoms and you can stop after the practice if you don't want to start right away. I will say, the practice isn't representative of the actual assessment. It is only checking your video and microphone

I second this, not really practice more like you know what it looks like and your tech is working.

Has anyone been accepted to the LEAD program? They say they haven’t accepted anyone for the program yet which is surprising because they recently finished their last interview group specifically for LEAD.

I got rejected around a month ago for PRIME-LC and the email said my application would be forwarded to the main MD pool. Anyone gotten an interview after a PRIME-LC rejection?

Does anyone know how many PRIME interview days there were?
There are multiple prime programs boss. But idk. I think u can come up with a round number tho.

Thinking about how many interviewees there are per session and how many spots they have for that program is a great start.

The only concern would be trying to understand if the turnover rate post interview is the same for the prime program as it is for regular md. Admit.org just has all matriculant data so you’d need info from the school to know that part.

If they accept more prime interviews than the turnover rate will be lower and vice versa.

Hey yall, does anyone have any insight on the interview that they’re willing to share? Curious to know how you guys felt about the atmosphere and how the interview is structured. Would appreciate any insight and opinions!! Thanks

Hey everyone -are any of you having conversations with the Admissions team - currently going back and forth on the second biology requirement. I already interviewed and *fingers crossed* it went well. If I can't find a solution this would be a rather sad situation. Adcoms have been rather vague and I'm not sure how much back and forth I can do :/.
Hi BRepublic, in the same boat. Got them to approve one of my courses, but they weren't budging on the upper div bio course. Ended up having to enroll in extended studies courses this quarter to fulfill the req :/. Could've done 1 quarter in CC, but it would've overlapped with my job. They accept courses from extension. Hope it shows that we're really dedicated!

Got a pre-II R this morning but just for the PRIME-LC program. It said my application is being moved to the main MD program but idk, it seems a little late for that at this point.

I got the same thing early Jan nugget, no R or ii just yet for me, so not sure. It seems like our school lists are super similar! I see you in the same threads I go to haha. Best of luck!

Haha, best of luck! clearly it has to do with our shared love of carbs

Does anyone know when we can expect to hear back by post interview? I interviewed first week of February and see that some people heard back already from the same interview date. I’m trying to be patient but the wait is killing mee
I feel you. I'm hoping sometime this week, but it could easily be last week of March. If they gave out decisions already, we would have heard about it. It's coming, we got this strawberry!
