linguini, do you think you could recommend me for an interview please. haha. do you know which school is your top choice so far?

Haha, yes I'll put your SDN handle for recommendation in my withdrawal letter. I can't pick a top choice as of yet yet but, for me (personal opinion here, don't everybody get mad!), BU trumps Tufts. So if I choose to stay in Boston where my friends and fam are then it'd be BU.

Unless I get into Harvard of course...there's wishful thinking 🙂.

that's good that you know which you like. people get too hung up over ooo my school's better than yours. 👎 but GOOD LUCK ON HARVARD nothing is wishful thinking! just gotta hope for the best :luck::xf:👍

how hard is it to change an interview date at Tufts?

Thanks!

Has anyone withdrawn their application post-acceptance and post-deposit? I am not going to attend Tufts and would like to open up my seat for another applicant. Is there an official form for withdrawing?

i have.
i withdrew via the secondary app website and got a confirmation email. after i didnt get my deposit in a couple of weeks, i sent an email and they said it will take several weeks to get the deposit back.

Thanks. I sent them an email to withdraw and received a confirmation email back as well. Itching for that $100 back...

hi everyone, I have my interview at MMC next week. Does anyone have any good last minute tips?

The MMC interview experience is very relaxed and friendly--just be yourself and know why you are excited about this program in particular.

:luck::luck:

Not hard. Although at this point I don't know how many dates there are to choose from.
theres still at least 8.... thanks!

edit: there are 6 days left

781 - suburban Boston

617 - downtown Boston

I dunno if that helps...I think my acceptance call came from a 617 number though...but maybe they are using their cell phone.

No message left?

As I recall you were ACed? My hopes are up because your hopes are up 🙂

I just got an e-mail telling me to update my contact information because they would be sending letters next week to anyone that interviewed in January. I'm so nervous.

eta - I guess I had a reason to be nervous... Just another e-mail saying I have been placed under AC.

I'm going to go back through this thread to further understand what that means, but does anyone know if they actually have a wait-list at Tufts? I couldn't gather from the e-mail whether the tone was "don't worry you haven't' been wait-listed" or " don't get your hopes up you haven't been wait-listed". Is being AC "better" or "worse" than being wait-listed?

Hey everyone, i just got placed on "active consideration." I was wondering... does anyone know

1. how many people are placed on active consideration each year and
2. how many are usually accepted?

Thanks!

Hey everyone, I just got placed on AC as well. Does anyone know if Tufts rejects people after an interview or is everyone that is not admitted placed on AC?

Has anyone sent in the financial forms...? Could this be a marker of your interest in Tufts? i.e. the sooner you sent it in the more interested you are in them? I haven't done my taxes yet

Helloooooooo just got my first acceptance to Tufts (Maine Track)!!!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😀😀😀 Super thrilled. Interviewed back in December, was ACed last month, got the fantastic email today. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone know if we can send updates on what we're doing? Are they still sending interviews?

Do it...worst case scenario, they'll just toss it. Best case scenario: it gets added to your file and all the adcoms are impressed with your continued interest in TUSM and your dedication to keeping them up to date.

As to the interview invites I am not sure.

Best of Luck!

Anyone who has interviewed for the MaineTrack......do you know if they are still interviewing students?? I haven't heard a thing, but it's my top choice. Thanks in advance.

We're seeing the accountant later this month, I've never filed taxes this early before

Hey guys, does anyone remember the name of the woman who spoke about diversity on their interview day? I can't find my schedule from that day to look it up! Thanks.

I assume they're done with invites?
🙁

I doubt it. I just checked their calendar and they still have a bunch of interview dates open in March.

Yea I just checked for you too and every interview date in March except for the week of the 15 (which I assume is Spring Break) is still open. And there are a few dates left open in February. Don't lose hope!

wow's there's still a small glimmer of hope!

There's are still dates in February? Which days? Ahhhh, crossing my fingers. I want to go here so bad!

hey all--

just received an interview invite, and i'm really excited. i definitely lagged on this secondary (didn't even finish until really early january), so for us late people there's still hope!

interviews until march 31st so there's still 5 interview dates left. GOOD LUCK!!

no more in february...

hey guys--

wondering if you could offer some advice. i heard that the interview day at tufts is incredibly long. can anyone tell me when i can realistically plan on leaving, and what my earliest flight out of boston should be?

do you think i could catch a flight out at 6:55pm (considering it'll take about an hour to get from tufts to the airport)

thanks!

For people who just got interview invites, around when was your application and secondary complete? I'm dying to hear from Tufts but I was complete so late I'm freaking out 😱

Are there still anymore interview days?

Someone just posted less than two days ago that they interview until March 31st and that there are still five more interview days left. Go read the sixth post before yours. :slap:

i wish people would read ... haha

Oh come on, the last post about an invite was two days ago, he's probably just anxious and justifiably so at the end of February.

Right. So we'll get another post from him two days from now asking if there are any more interview days left.

Is anyone else waiting to hear post-interview in the beginning of March? She said by the second week of the month, but that seems SO late!

Do you guys think it's better to send a letter of intent post-interview or wait until a decision has been made (ie: ACed)?

i would wait until they've made a decision. desperation does not look good.

anyone know what kind of financial aid tufts gives? mostly loans? are they pretty generous?

Are there still anymore interview days?

Just got the interview invite this morning - there are three interview dates left in the last week of March, in case people were still wondering.

so is no one else on here waiting for a decision in the next week or two? i am freaking out!
