So just because of all your experiences I haven't called at all. I figure if they want to call & invite me, great; if not, I'll wait it out until they outright reject me. It's still early.

Oh man you're so lucky. Tulane is my top choice for school and personal reasons. I commented on your MDapps, we have really similar stats except for an SMP. Good luck to ya! The city is great! Try and spend a night on the town, preferably after your interview, if you catch my Et-OH laden drift🙂

Did you guys manage to do arrange that? I am reading through all the feedback and I feel like there isn't that much I can do in terms of preparing. I really hope that there won't be a strange question coming out of left field!

I'm staying at their rez. I haven't really prepared for this one, I'm just going to be myself and hopefully things will turn out ok.

I'm actually really looking forward to Monday, if only because I think the whole experience is going to very relaxed.

I'm staying at their medical student residence, Deming Pavillion is what it's called I believe. I wanted to get an idea of how it is in the event (cross fingers) that I actually am accepted to Tulane.

Yeah, it should be fun.

There isn't a need to prepare for the interview. It is seriously a conversation. So if you know things about yourself, you're okay.

Yep, they do. No worries. Great interview day, it was a ton of fun! It was really funny how students everywhere would stop the interviewees to talk about Tulane. They all love it!

It's somewhere in this thread, but I think it was Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9 and 1 (2?) CST.

I think it was on the email they sent or the .doc file with the instructions, not their website, but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was Tu/Th, and I know that it was from the morning until early afternoon NOLA time.

Haven't heard from Tulane in awhile so I called them. Turns out they LOST my secondary. wtf is going on over there? I suggest people check their status by calling & don't assume they have everything.

There was another poster who stated that they lost his/her application as well. This is ridiculous. How do you LOSE an electronic application, and why aren't they notifying people that this has ocurred?

I know I saw that too. That's why I called! If I could I would ask for a refund... seriously how do you lose an electronic secondary? She said she will contact IT and I should call back on Tuesday.

Did your credit card statement show that you paid? I called two weeks ago and they told me I was complete, but now you all have me fearing that my application got lost.

yes & i have the confirmation from tulane (which I told the lady but she ignored me). They are so disorganized over there I wouldn't trust anything without proof. I'm very disappointed.

I was there with you... actually sat right next to you and chatted with you in the morning session (judging by your mdapps, I'm pretty sure I think I know who you are) .. hoping for some good news too! Gradu8in2003 said that they will be snail-mailing offers on the 16th.. so that means we won't receive them until a few days later 🙁

I guess this really shows how Tulane focuses a lot on extracurricular work and external interests!

that was my md app from last year.

This year my cgpa is at a 2.98.. yes a little lower than the previous year since AMCAS calculated it wrong last year.

As for my extracurriculars.. yes, I would say that it is definitely my strong point! PM me if you need more info!
