Rejected by email, also complete September 20-something. Oh well, grateful to have closure instead of ongoing silence. 3.7 35 for those who care.

what does it mean if we were complete mid july and haven't heard anything? Does this mean we are still in the game or most likely heading for a rejection? Just wondering if anyone has any idea.

+1, but August
I've also been complete since late August. Assuming they are going through the apps chronologically, I would think we are still in the running. I sent them an update letter two days ago, not sure if it will do any good.
i'm an NY resident and I graduated from Cornell. Do you all think this will help my chances at Weill? My stats are a bit on the low side for this school.
On interview day they said they admit more Cornell students simply because they are familiar with the faculty writing the rec letters and because they know the rigors of the school. That may be a double-edged sword if you're on the lower side of their stats by a lot.
II 11/14/12. Complete 9/24/12. Notified via email. OOS. The best of luck to all of those still waiting to hear back from this school. The cycle is not over yet.
Damn. Completed around 9/20. I am starting to think im out of the running.
Nah, there are people who completed in August and still waiting ... Good news will come (hopefully)![]()
Rejected 🙁 good luck guys!
Aw man, sorry to hear that 🙁 When were you complete?
can any current students talk a bit about what they like/dislike about Cornell?
Preferably touch upon the notions of competitiveness within the class, and constant quizzing.
Can said medical school student also clarify the scent of the average Cornell bowel?
Any URMs? Iam African American with 33M and 3.31 gpa. Is it likely that I get an interview?
Nowhere is anyone likely to get an interview.

says somebody who already got into stanford and WashU before thanksgiving 😛
Hahah, I guess I am riding a good/lucky wave right now, but I think I would still disagree with that statement otherwise 😉 it's perfectly true that an applicant can be "likely" to get an interview at certain schools!

I think I'm already quite neurotic myself. I've been trying to log into mdapps every day for the past week and IT'S STILL NOT WORKING GAHHH

+2+1 i completely agree! What is wrong with mdapps?
If I want to send an update to Cornell do I use the admissions email address?
would anybody comment on the interview day please? Are the interviews stressful? What type of questions should i expect?
Thanks

This interview is pretty typical (i.e. not stressful whatsoever). Morning or afternoon interviewsm tour, lunch, discussion with a Dean... The only distinct thing I remember is that the interview coordinator Woldine was super nice and it was the only interview I have been on where they tell you exactly what time your interview is beforehand (I liked that they did not mess around with me time). I had a faculty interviewer and a student interviewer and they were both super super chill... just asking me things I've done and my outside interests, why Weill...
Rejected today by email as well. Oh well. Good luck everyone else!
🙁 via email?
yep. I was complete some time in the middle of July (it's not that I'm trying to be anonymous, I just don't know the exact date)
