How many interviewees were there yesterday?
Just FYI they also have student hosts. I stayed with one and it was a great experience...you get to see what their dorms look like!
In the II email, there is no info on student host. Did you email the office of admissions to request a student host? Thanks!
Yeah you have to email the office of admissions to request a student host.
Has anyone had any success after sending an "in the area" email? I will be in NY during January and see the option is available for some of you currently receiving invites.
The application site says that they accept updates. I sent one pre-interview, and then another post-interview, and both were added to my file.is this school receptive to updates post-interview? i interviewed really early, and since decisions come out in march, i thought it might be appropriate to send an update during the interim, any suggestions?
Thanks Wangers! (And congrats on UCSF!)"The class is selected in mid-March and all decisions are emailed then"
My hunch is that nobody will hear this month based on the post-interview status above (log into the status page to see this). Maybe they're sending the likely letters to select people (like the one I posted about a while ago) in place of early acceptance offers? Just speculating..good luck Ichiban (and everybody else!)!! 😍😍
Interview invitation just now! Got the complete email July 30th.

I sent Cornell an "in the area" email when I had an interview with another NYC school, and they totally hooked me up 🙂
The real question is if they said that last year and previous years bc they have been accepting a small handful in mid/ late December.I think on their website they say they don't do rolling admissions. All acceptances are decided in March.
Unless I misunderstand what you're saying.
EDIT: In reply to med144
The real question is if they said that last year and previous years bc they have been accepting a small handful in mid/ late December.
On my interview day they said they would send out a few acceptances in January for highly-qualified applicants.
Just got an II! I was complete mid-August and sent a letter of interest in early Dec and my fall semester grades just a few days ago!
How did you send your grades? Congrats btw!!
II today! complete late august.
For those that also received II today/recently, did you have any trouble sending in the passport photo? What e-mail account did you send it to?
I sent one to the general admissions e-mail and just got a notification saying the message couldn't be delivered. Anyone else have that problem?
thanks! if you go back and check your confirmation email from when your application was complete, they have instructions for sending updates. they have an update email account and ask for a pdf attachment, so i just wrote up a short letter that i attached to the email listing the classes i took and grades received.
Would you mind posting that email? I am complete but I never received the complete email with the email address for updates.
Thanks and congrats.
Sure thing! Here is the info for sending updates --
You may send us occasional, substantive application updates if appropriate. Please send any such updates to [email protected], attaching your update as a Word or PDF file with the file name in the following format: lastname_firstname_AAMCID_ date. You will receive a confirmation email. Please do not include other queries or information in the email; questions should be directed to our main email address.
man, i've lasted through so many rounds of both interview invitations and rejections that i'm really not quite sure what to think at this point...
Hi folks,
Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Penn Station to WCMC's admissions office by taxi and by subway train?
Thanks,
MDPhDJourney
Thanks, Mosa!Hi! I had this same question a few pages ago and got very helpful answers as to which subways to take. I can't speak for using taxi but via subway it was less than 35 minutes. Hopstop.com or the hopstop app is very useful for this.
Good luck!!!
