I feel you @pDeluxe! I'm about to hit my 6-month mark in terms of post-interview decision! =[
If you don't mind me asking, were you just waitlisted today? I still have not received any post-interview decision.... and it's been about 7 months

I really want to know what numerical score they gave people like us to warrant such a drawn out process.I'm in the same boat... been waiting since September. I feel like this is unfair to students. We need to figure out our plans for next year!

Was wait listed back mid march. But yeah I can see your frustration considering the uncertainty about in which of the "limbos" your currently sitting in. ( The one before getting accepted-wait list or the one were your between wait listed- rejection) One of those could give you really good news or it puts you into a really good position come May 15th. While the other really seams like probably the most dragged out no I have heard of.If you don't mind me asking, were you just waitlisted today? I didn't complete any financial aid stuff besides FAFSA... Never received any information regarding NeedAccess or Geisel specific forms.I interviewed 2 days ago, really enjoyed the visit... and supposedly the last committee meeting is today. Supposedly the NeedAccess & Geisel financial aid application was due the day of my interview - did anyone who is currently waitlisted already complete the NeedAccess app?

Welp. I wasn't aware that their policy applied to students who hadn't been accepted, let alone no decisions. Guess I'll email them and see if they're willing to work with me.If it helps, the info is on their Financial Aid website.

relay hoping that's more of a "suggestion" than a strict dateThe financial aid application checklist they gave has a due date of April 15th.
I'm sorry to hear that, I was really rooting for you 🙁Waitlisted as well. 7 months post-interview. Wow.
Thanks! I'm a little bummed, but still optimistic for late May waitlist movement.I'm sorry to hear that, I was really rooting for you 🙁
Hmm, I still don't have anything in my inbox. And now I'm slightly panicked.By the sounds of it all remaining post interview decisions have been made known today. If I remember correctly from now on its pretty much a stack of applications on Andys desk and who and when they get off of the wait list is strictly at his discretion. Anybody wana go halfsies on a box of chocolates/6 pack for him?

Anyone else hear nothing? Or did Dartmouth just lose/forget about me? 🙁
I guess I'll call them Monday...but man, way to make a girl call to hear tough news...
🙁
Hey girl. Keep your chin up. It's gonna be all right. You're pretty amazing.
Thanks, I'm in for a long weekend of wondering/anxious thinking...

I haven't heard anything yet either. Interviewed on March 11th.
but yeah it keeps me wondering about what is a realistic chance of actually getting off of it.Is it just me, but I feel like so many of us on the waiting list!
I did! Will respond later today I hope.Did you guys receive the waiting list follow up email this morning as well?
+1I did! Will respond later today I hope.
Does Geisel grant deferrals easily?
Thanks, I hope so too! I was reading last year's thread and someone said that everyone hears a decision by mid-April. Of course, their last interview day was late March last year, but I think they went into April this year.
Thanks, I hope so too!Hey guys, withdrew acceptance today. Hope it goes to one of you!
Wondering this too. In my reply to the waitlist letter, I said that I'd like to submit a LOI if welcomed. Their reply to confirm receipt of my email didn't address my LOI request.1) They say in the waitlist follow up email that they would like to keep people on the waitlist who are strongly interested in Geisel, but in the Waitlist Letter it seems like they only want updates sent, not love letters. So, how does one show a strong interest in Geisel if we can't send a love letter? I've read on other threads that some schools will send you to the bottom of the waitlist if you send things they've told you that they don't want. What is the feeling at Geisel? Will the LOI help me or destroy me?
