My advice after interviewing this past week is know your application inside-out. Outside of typical motivation and behavioral questions, I had the opportunity to touch upon every activity I listed. I suggest looking at their program, think about the type of people they're recruiting, and simply showcase yourself. As for the morning, just relax, enjoy the tours and small group activity. I felt the small group activity was a definite highlight of the day 🙂
It was snowing on my interview day, so maybe they were more accommodating than if it's simply cold outside, but they conducted the tour through underground tunnels such that we didn't have to go outside at all.

(Well, I guess Winnie-the-Pooh isn't good because of the Very Little Brain thing, and Piglet suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Tigger is WAY too bouncy and extroverted. Wol can't spell, but he passes for wise, so I guess that he would be okay. Kanga would be a great pediatrician. Rabbit would get in anywhere, thanks to nepotism--all those friends and relations. ) But go in like Christopher Robin, like you own the whole Hundred Acre Wood. Cleveland Rocks. Rock the interview!!
Accepted here earlier this month. One thing that isn't so obvious is the degree to which Case pushes its IQ curriculum (read through this carefully and internalize it). I honestly went in thinking it would be a huge research school. However, every single student and faculty I met at the interview day sang the praises of small PBL group work. They let you sit in on a session and talk about the advantages over a traditional curriculum, like how you get a ton of free time for self directed learning (only a few hours of required class a week and Thursdays off, for example). If you have any activities that involve communication and teamwork, it would do you well to emphasize those. Teaching experience adds a lot of brownie points, I think.
I think that's just because your application wasn't reviewed for the first batch of acceptances.
To clarify, the hold vs high hold is for CCLCM. UT just puts you on an alternate list to be reevaluated for a waitlist in April.

Yup, I was also in that time frame that they've already reviewed but haven't heard anything.
Wait, so high hold can mean you are still in the initial 32 acceptances? I assumed it was more of a waitlist.
