It depends when you submitted. If it was right around the time you got the complete email (late July), than give it another week or 2 as it is likely due to the high volume they get in late July-October. But if it was early July when you submitted, you should have beat the rush and should think about calling soon to check in and make sure there was no mistakes made.
 
I was complete within the first 10 days of July and also haven't received anything. I'm probably going to wait another few weeks, they're most likely bogged down with a lot of applications.

I'm also international, not sure if that makes a difference

That's very likely that they are. There has been a great deal of reorganizing here, especially for admissions with the new MMI interview format so be patient with them. I'd say for anyone on here that is concerned, a firm(er) deadline for when you should definitely think about calling is about 10-12 weeks post complete email, depending on when you sent everything in.
 
How long did it take you all to receive the complete email after submitting your secondary?

All of my letters were in long before I submitted my secondary 3 weeks ago... Still no complete email

Edit: looking back in the thread it looks like there were others who had to wait 17, 18, 19 days... Maybe they are just back-logged? 22 days without a complete email, maybe I'll sit tight for a few more days 🙁

Submitted secondary 8/12. Complete 9/4. I called in late August, and they said to give it at least 6 weeks before calling them.
 
I only received the primary screening complete email on Aug 21 and then nothing yet.

It's going to be a while. Your next step is getting small pooled, but you are a little late to the game so they are pretty back logged and might not get to your app for several more weeks.

You don't need the small pool email unless the primary screening is a variation of the small pool letter. I got the same email on 8/21 and was invited a couple weeks later

You did not receive any variation of a small pool letter and was given a II? I.e., you only received a complete email and received a II?
 
Anyone interviewing on 9/24 and is planning to stay at Days Inn Lake Bluff/Great Lakes on the night of 9/23?
I have a ride reserved for $95 to get from Midway International to the hotel. I will be arriving around 3:40 PM on 9/23. I can take two more people with me for the same rate. So it'll be ~$32 per person if there's 3 of us and $47.50 per person if there's 2 of us.

I got the "primary screening complete" email that people got on 8/21 but not the small pool email others were getting. Unless the primary screening email complete email is a variation of the small pool email.

I wish you were coming from ohare! I'll be at the days inn though. Share ride to interview maybe?
 
I submitted my secondary nearly 8 weeks ago, 7/18.
I only received an email stating that my secondary was received on the same day. I suppose this wasn't the "Completed" letter?

I don't want to bug them, but how else should I know everything has been received/ready for process?

There's a train that goes from Ohare to Midway, but it takes about 1 hour and 15 mins. I believe the cost is around $2.50 If you're willing to go take the time to meet us at Midway, you're welcome to tag along! One other person has also contacted me so hopefully we can make it a 3-person trip..making it approximately $32 per person.

The hotel provides a free shuttle to the interview.

I received a complete email on 7/28 and today I received a Primary Screening Complete email. It looks like there is a lot of variation in communication. I guess we just wait to see what's next.

Passing the primary screen might be a small pool notification. You may want to check this thread to see what people were saying about that in the last month and a half or so to see.
 
Does anyone know if we can check our application status online for Rosalind Franklin?
 
Got an email asking if I want to change my interview date to 9/24 as they have slots opened up. If anyone wants an interview I would send an "in the area" for that day you just might snag it

You should only really send it if you'll be in the area though.

In years past they've released a few acceptances in late October, but did the bulk of their first rounds of acceptance/alternate listing at the end of November or December. That could've changed since then though, as there has been a pretty drastic change in admissions personnel here at the school in the last few years.
 
Anyone who is interviewing on 9/24 still not get an email regarding interview day info? I called the admissions last week and all they said was the email will go out as the interview day approaches.. The interview is next week already.... -_-
 
Is the "primary screening" email you guys are mentioning the email that says thank you for being patient. Your file is now under review. It'll take 6-8 weeks?
 
Primary Screening email today. Complete 7/28. Wow, I lost hope since I hadn't heard anything since the completion email.
 
Also got the primary screening complete email today. Complete 7/29.
 
So, I browsed this thread to see how strict they are about lacking a letter from a medical professional and see that the consensus is to try anyway?
How broadly do they define "medical professional"? I will have two letters from clinical psychologists, do you think it would count?

i'm interviewing then too! But I'm driving up, so I can't share a taxi.

Does anyone know how many people are at an interview day?
 
Yeah anyone interviewing 9/24 and flying in the day before want to share hotel and travel expenses? Sure would help! ;o) PM me.
