Although, website says this:

"Applicants who have not received a final decision via email remain under active consideration until they do so. All applicants will receive either an invitation to interview or a letter of regret by March 31."

They don't send any pre-ii rejections until March. But if you look at the threads from the past two years, applicants complete early in the year were still getting II's in the spring.

Rejected, complete in the beginning of July! Can't believe how long it's been.

I am URM, but I am also a reapplicant and it did not seem to matter at all last year!

Chill out. They interview through like, March. If you haven't been rejected yet (which apparently they have started doing!) you still have a chance of being interviewed.

What is your point? I'm trying to give you a little solace in the fact that you still have a solid shot at getting an interview here. Jesus, I'll remember not to be nice on SDN in the future 🙂
 
just seems like a pot/kettle situation with the "chill out" but thanks for trying to help even if it was a bit condescendingly phrased...

I never said I wasn't chilled out, haha. I'm super un-chill about this process. But sometimes it helps me when I'm being ridiculous for someone to call me out on it and get grounded back in reality. But now we're really just derailing the thread. Sorry for trying to help!

complete 8/7, no rejection yet.

does this mean that i wasn't immediately rejected or that they just haven't gotten to that pool of applicants yet??

The in-season rejections seem to be new to this year, so none of us really have any idea as to the process. My only thoughts are that if they are now sending out rejections and you didn't get one, consider it a positive until you get a decision.
 
Complete 7/11 and still nothing! And here I thought completing my apps early would help me hear sooner :sorry:
 
Does anyone know if we'll hear back tomorrow vs. next week?

They said the 19th was the committee meeting! They had said at our interview that we would hear this week or next and I saw last time it was on a Tuesday :nailbiting:
 
I received a II, and I am looking to schedule flights. What time have your interview days ended? Do you think I could get to the airport for a 5:35PM flight? I greatly appreciate any input!

I think you could. I'll check my paperwork when I get home but I think the day ended around 3, and you'll be a 5 to 10 minute walk to the station where a direct bus will take you to the airport.

Edit: apparently the day ends an hour later than I thought so ignore what I said. Sorry 🙁

You're cutting it very close. The interview day ends around 4-4:15 depending on if you interview first or second. Then it's between 15-30 minutes to the airport depending on traffic. And if you've never been through Logan, the security checkpoint can be long and slow. You can possibly make your flight, but you're not leaving yourself much wiggle room.

Not with heightened security. When I was traveling to and from my high school, there were 2 terrorism scares, and each time security took like 2 hours. Logan TSA gets serious.

I interviewed 11/5 and haven't heard anything yet I wonder if that means I'll hear next week or if it means bad news. Hoping for the best tho 🙂
