Did you happen to get the other e-mail, the "sorry we're late on applications" one?

Also if anyone was interested was complete 7/23 and received II 10/3

Congrats!! What sorta work have you been doing leading up to applying to MDs? Always interested to hear, I feel like there are more and more nontrads applying.
 
From what I can extrapolate, the lack of the "Delay Email" means you have a higher likely hood of getting rejected. For the people who have actually received interviews, did you receive "The Email" before you got your II?

I think you got your II before that email went out, though... most people got it on Friday, Oct. 7. Blegh... still worried it's a bad sign. @FireBreathingAstonaut I haven't seen anybody that didn't receive that email subsequently get an II :|

BU's admission makes a really good effort to be candid about the process. All that email meant is literally that they are taking longer to get to your app than they thought. It doesn't mean anything good or bad, just that you're probably going to be waiting some more before you hear anything. The people that didn't get it just submitted earlier and already have been reviewed. And even if you already have been reviewed and haven't heard anything or didn't get the delay email, doesn't mean you won't continue to get reviewed in different piles until the end of the process. Stop worrying yourself, it doesn't mean anything good or bad either way.

Yeah but has anyone who HAS gotten the delay email gotten an interview invite?
 
It is difficult to extrapolate anything from this thread RE email/ no email
 
Complete mid July still nothing. Can't tell if this is a good/ bad sign. :scared:
 
II just this morning! Complete 8/9 and I *didn't* get "the email" a couple weeks ago. While the available dates are now firmly in the second round of interviews, still better than nothing! (Especially after a less-than-stellar day yesterday)

Got an interview invite today! How likely is it to get in you think if I got an interview?
 
Savage rejection by BU today (jk it was actually very nice... Not sure how they manage to make you feel good about yourself while rejecting you at the same time... quite impressive really)

The entire time I felt like they were patting me on the back while reassuring me saying "its not you, its me"
 
I'm sorry about all the rejections, I hope you guys get some love somewhere else!
