wow
what are your stats?
Hello! So there's a big group of you and there's a brief session with everyone first. You're given a nice folder with some info in it. Then you're split up into 3 groups, and everyone has a slightly different schedule. Essentially it's tour, QandA with students, and MMI (in different orders).
I can't divulge too much about the MMI as we sign a nondisclosure, but it did seem a bit more laid back.
Hope that helps, pm me if you have questions!! 🙂

It's either 8-12 or 1-5 🙂.So how long does the interview day last? I signed up for an afternoon slot, so I'm assuming no more than 3-4 hours, right?
Can you please discuss what the interview session was like. Is there a tour? How is it structured? How long is the entire thing? What were the MMIs like? Any advice?
Hey guys, I have a quick question about the admissions requirements (I called the office and left a message but haven't heard back). My school did not offer two semester introductory biology courses. I took one semester of Intro to Zoology with lab (5 credit hours). I have also taken Microbiology (with lab), Cell Bio, and Molecular Bio. Would the Microbio with Lab count for the Intro Bio Part II with Lab requirement?
It is always late at this point to be submitting primaries; however, you never know until you try.I was just released from EDP for another school, does anyone know if this is too late in the game to be submitting primaries?
I interviewed here on the 9th. Stayed at the Days Inn (I'd give it a 2/5 stars). I flew into O'hare the day before and made the mistake of taking a cab from the airport to Lake Bluff ($125 cab ride). I don't know much about the shuttle, but if it's a cheaper alternative then you should take it. I would also recommend taking Uber (a $70 ride). Without traffic, it's a 30-45 minute ride from the airport to the school.I am interviewing on 10/7. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips for traveling there. Are you guys flying into O'Hare and taking a shuttle to North Chicago to stay the night there?
Nope. I submitted 8/23 and no complete email either.I submitted my secondary on Aug 21st and I do not recall getting any complete email so far, is there any online portal to check the status?
I submitted 7/21 and received complete email Monday 9/26. Sucks to wait, but they have to catch up at some point.Submitted beginning of August and no complete yet.
same here!Secondary submitted 7/24 finally got the complete email this morning (9/29), if anyone is wondering!
Well... That just happened...
... Do we even want to know?
EDIT: Realized you just interviewed! Rough one?
Just got a complete email and submitted July 27th (had rec letters assigned before then too). Just wondering, is this normal? Because then it says it could take another 8-10 weeks to hear an update in status...lol
I think it's normal. Looks like everyone who submitted that day got a complete email today. They are just flooded with a lot of applications!
Congrats! Would you mind sharing your mcat? & when you were complete?
Hi everyone,
I hope some people can either elevate my concerns here or offer guidance. So I submitted my secondary sometime around 7/15/16 (give or take a couple days). I then received the confirmation email that they received my secondary materials. Following that email I received a second email telling me to "disregard the previous email" if I did not submit my secondary application and that they look forward to receiving my secondary materials. I reached out to their admissions office out of concern that they didn't receive me material due to the second email. They responded with a email that kinda disregarded my concern and the situation of receiving the confirmation email, then getting a second email that stated they may or may not have received the secondary material. They told me they were backlogged on emails (which I can completely relate to and understand) and that I would receive an email when they got my secondary material. Did this happen to anyone else?
Also has anyone OOS received an II (or rejection?) from close to 7/15??
Take care everyone, (and good luck!)
Ian
Whoever is in charge here clearly wants anyone with a pulse to submit a secondary and make just about as much money as possible. Out of the 20 secondaries I sent out, Rosalind was one of the most expensive. Sure if they screen out applicants pre-secondary they make less money but at least they wouldn't be so backlogged.
Hey I received the same email on the same day. Do you mind sharing your stats to see if I am in the right neighborhood for an II. My Lizzy M is 72 and I completed on 7/30. Thanks!Received it on 8/25 and silence here!
