.... got the same happy holidays email. kaiser, just give me an II as a christmas present... 🙁
Got the same Email but it did put a smile in my face knowing that they still think of me lol..... got the same happy holidays email. kaiser, just give me an II as a christmas present... 🙁
I was complete in early July and have heard nothing back yet besides the Holiday Email (much appreciated). I was wondering if everyone's portal says "Awaiting review" still or if that ever changes to "under review" or "review completed" before getting an II or something? The most action my portal has seen has been this Holiday email.......
It means they’re interviewing past February.Sooo they're alrdy giving out interviews up to their final day in February, but said that they will continue reviewing applications until March 2020?
Someone submitted to the II tracker that they received an interview with a LM of 55. If it's not a troll, then I think we'll receive an honest review so long as we've hit 500 on the MCAT.looks like everyone they're interviewing has a LM score above 70. welp i've lost all hope
i'm praying, it'd be a dream of mine..Someone submitted to the II tracker that they received an interview with a LM of 55. If it's not a troll, then I think we'll receive an honest review so long as we've hit 500 on the MCAT.
Good luck, and "Happy Holidays"
Should we just be roomies or whatJust got my financial aid package and getting the full cost of living covered 😍This is a dream come true tbh, grew up hella poor and this will be my first time not having to worry about money

It may not be their policy to reject people during interview season like Emory
Should we just be roomies or what
You're saying they have not rejected anyone yet who submitted secondaries?
Thru march brother. Til the cycle ends. How long would you guys say it takes to receive a follow-up from them in regards to secondaries? I submitted mine on November 1st, the final day possible.
Got the holiday email as well. They should just reject me by now, it's clear that they have waaay more students still in limbo than interview spots, especially if they want all initial decisions out by March lol.
Has any applicant who completed secondaries in September received an interview invitation yet?
Complete Mid-August and still nothing.
Same I hope they get to usComplete Mid-August and still nothing.
Same I hope they get to us
Which day in August has an applicant hear heard from?
Hah... I shouldn't be hearing anything until Feb as an MD/PhD applicant, but the season's greeting email today still made my heart skip a beat and disappoint me somehow.
I know. I just about had a heart attack!Hah... I shouldn't be hearing anything until Feb as an MD/PhD applicant, but the season's greeting email today still made my heart skip a beat and disappoint me somehow.
Yep. So much joy and disappointment in a matter of moments. Agh!same. I saw an exclamation point and was expecting an A. But no..
So interviewed people got that seasons greetings right? No need to start a conspiracy theory?
You're MD/PhD too?same. I saw an exclamation point and was expecting an A. But no..
Nope. The same was referring to heart beats skipping. You're MD/PhD too?

By mid, do you mean closer to the beginning of the month or closer to the end of the month?
This is a tough question. I have As from other schools that are a bit of a safer bet - they are solid and reputable and a great mission fit for me. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to take the risk attending a school where I am part of the inaugural class. Additionally, I'm really skeptical of Kaiser as an institution - they talk a big game about wanting to transform healthcare, but the Kaiser system is one of the institutional giants of healthcare and have a vested interest in keeping the status quo as it is and making a lot of money. I wasn't convinced that the school is actually going to prioritize underserved populations or people who don't have access to healthcare. Lastly, I'm interested in surgery as a possible specialty so REALLY not sure how I feel about simulations replacing anatomy entirely. However, the free tuition is going to be hard to turn down, and I have ties to the area, so....I'll probably attend the second look weekend, but with a very critical perspective (as I will for all other schools).
Admitted today! AHHH!! LM 75 and interviewed in mid November!
Does Kaiser accept updates?
You get your own room. For those that have interviewed and stayed at the Westin: does Kaiser house you in your own room or do you get paired with another interviewee?
