Yeah, I'm curious whether any deferred people have been accepted yet. I know some deferred people got rejected but haven't heard of any that got accepted.Does anyone know when deferred movement occurs?
Congratulations!!Interviewed early November, deferred late January, and just now received an acceptance email. I am extremely lucky since I am an OOS applicant but I also completed my MBS through their program, so I'd imagine in a way they kinda cancel each other out. Always remember that it isn't over till it's over and that one day WE ALL will be amazing physicians!!
I sent an update prior to the decision. 520 MCAT, 3.96 GPA. PA resident. For those who got deferred, did any of you send a LOI prior to the decision? and if anyone can share their stats that would be much appreciated!!
I've heard it's because they want to wait until they interview (or review other applicants if they're done interviewing), to see if they prefer those applicants instead, but who knows.Just curious, why do schools do a deferral instead of just making a decison? If they are not ready, they could just not release a decision, right? Is it just to get off the hook because they know they are behind on decisions and applicants are waiting?
I got deferred today... meepanyone from 1/29 hear back?
I thought my student interview was phenomenal. Had a tougher faculty interview... he kinda cut me off a lot, but overall he seemed to enjoy the convoFor those of you deferred: Mind sharing how you felt your interview went? 😅
I thought the student interview was pretty good and relaxed - nothing crazy. On the other hand, the faculty interview was probably the best that I've had regarding enthusiasm and overall conversation. At this point I feel like its all so random since a lot of us have had positive experiences with the interviews, but hey, the one thing that's certain is that a deferral is not an R.For those of you deferred: Mind sharing how you felt your interview went? 😅
I got deferred. I thought the interview went well, but you never know. My MCAT was pretty low, but I have a lot of experience and a high GPA. IS.For those of you deferred: Mind sharing how you felt your interview went? 😅
Thank you I definitely appreciate it!! Praying for your success and everyone else as we continue in this crazy application cycle!Congratulations!!

When did they send you the aid package? And was it through email or the portal?Biggest of oofs at that 90k in loans financial "aid" package. Was really hoping for some scholarship luck here 😒

Thank you!!! So I didn't send an LOI post-interview (even though I wanted to), because I had already sent in my two updates for the cycle: one was a grades update and one was a work update.Congrats!!!! Did you send a LOI after being deferred?
