Anyone else with interviews- are they also scheduled 35 minutes apart? This seems like it might be a little rushed!
 
Went straight from complete to on hold. My completion date was 7/27.
 
Is everyone seeing "Hold" just in that "Application Status" box? Mine still just says complete (submit 7/30). This whole thing seems so random lol

When you are placed on hold, the green text on the application portal will explicitly state that you have been reviewed by admissions and no decision has been made, but that you will be re-reviewed at a later date. You need to read the entire green script because on first glance it looks the same

There's a lot more to it than your GPA and MCAT score.

Also, not sure about GW specifically, but at other schools being put "on hold" doesn't mean you're being tabled. It means that Reviewer 1 has read your app, and now they are waiting for Reviewer 2 to read your app before deciding whether or not to extend an II.
 
Friend complete 8/3 hold, mine was done Sept and still says ready. Im more curious about the order they review the apps tbh. I don't think it means anything for me in relation to my friend
 
When GW says that "Each interviewee will participate in two interviews — one with a faculty member and one with a current student, which will last approximately 25 minutes.", this obviously means that both interviews last approx 25 minutes, right? Rather than for a total of 25 min?

I'd assume they're each 25 minutes. Anything less than that is not enough time to gauge a candidate's qualifications or interest.

Each interview will last ~25 minutes. They might be scheduled one right after the other, or with a bit of time between them, but each interview will last ~25 minutes.

any interview tips from current students or reapplicants? Mine is coming up in two days and I am getting a bit too nervous haha. I have read the interview experience is generally nice at GW; but I would appreciate some feedback as well like what type of questions they ask and how student and faculty interviews are different... My student interview is scheduled before the faculty interview and I am hoping that it'd ease me into the process.. what do you think?

Is there a specific status for "under review". Mine has just said this since I've submitted a couple weeks ago:
"Your file is now complete. At this point we have received all the necessary credentials including your secondary application and your letters of recommendation in order for your application to be reviewed. While the committee works diligently to review applications in a timely manner, please be aware that in order to do a thorough review of your file it may be sometime until you hear from us again. We greatly appreciate your patience during the application process. Please feel free to update your file during this time using the GW Admissions Portal."

I don't think there is. My status looked like the above up until today when it changed to a hold status.
 
The status is changed now. But it previously said something along the lines of "File is under review." Wasn't any more than 4 or 5 words in green
