I wouldn't call it big in the traditional city-sense like NYC or Los Angeles since Atlanta is a lot more sprawled out, but it's definitely not a small city either. Somewhere in between.

I lived in the Atlanta metro area but not in Boston, but I think the population in the metro area for both is around 4-5 million? I'm not sure what else is similar between them tbh

Does anyone know how to schedule or get more information about "Meet the M1s" sessions? I see these listed on the calendar but nothing on the Eventbrite website.

Email the Office of Admissions if you aren't getting the email invites or however they're sending these things out! There's one tomorrow and then another one next Thursday (nothing Monday or Tuesday because we have our cardio exam on Wednesday)

I interviewed early Dec and was accepted in the previous round, so I assume they're reviewing December as well!

I don't think so; WashU acceptance dates seem to have little correlation with interview dates, based on past threads.

Yes it is but it's also more of a sprawling city so it's big in that way, not like Boston, New York, and Chicago which are really concentrated.

I was accepted less than 2 weeks after my interview in early January so I think any interview date is on the table for an A honestly??! GOOD LUCK 😊😊

I got in during a recent round of acceptances, which I think started on a Thursday or Friday, and I didn't get a call until that Sunday. So I think each round takes place over several days!

I received an MSTP acceptance call last night ~6:30 p.m. CT! The MD admissions committee met yesterday but Brian Sullivan said it could be until Feb 18 before other MSTP admissions decisions are made.

Everyone hears back by March but they started sending some acceptances in Nov and have done a few a month since then. There’s seemingly no correlation between interview day and when you hear back.

March. Last year they had a long trickle of As through March 16 and then sent out a mass WL/R wave.

I don’t remember being told a concrete day at all so if you were then I’d go with that. I’d be really surprised if it took until April 15 to send out all their As since I feel like it would put WashU at a big disadvantage yield-wise compared to its peer schools. But schools do weird stuff all the time so who knows.
