When you log in to your AMCAS application, do all of your letters indicate received? I'm not sure how other schools could have the letters but EVMS couldn't.
 
Yeah I also thought it was a fantastic interview experience. Now comes the fun part of waiting for another decision. Last cycle it took around 3-4 weeks to hear back so I'm hoping for a decision around the end of October.

they emailed me the same thing. But it was because they said I NEEDED 2 natural science LORs. I have 2 science, 1 clinical, 1 volunteer, but apparently one of my sciences isnt a natural/physical science. The email said "Please upload to AMCAS"

Perhaps you are in a similar situation?

Does anyone know if EVMS takes the highest attempt on MCAT?
I know VCU states on their website that they have elected to take the highest attempt.

Emailed them an update earlier this week, patiently waiting. Complete 7/18.

Scratch that, I just double-checked and I must have written the date incorrectly in my notes. It says October 15th on BOTH so maybe we'll just hear some news later in the day! It isn't the end of business hours yet!

Where is this info coming from? I wonder how far they will get with the applicants they’ve already interviewed.

When I interviewed a few weeks ago I asked how long do interviewees wait for admission decisions once the 15th hits and they said that they don't start reviewing apps for acceptance until after the 15th.

Was waitlisted and eventually got the R here last cycle, and I remember getting the WL decision and seeing others get A's on SDN the Wednesday of that week. Not sure if that means anything since it is a completely different cycle, but I would definitely expect some decisions soon!

Same...was hoping to know last friday then early this past week and then by the end of this week but it seems as we will have to wait until next week...

I wouldn't get too worried! Schools might just change things up from year to year.
 
Do we know how they determine order of app review? Like is it based on stats or date of file completion? And do they do post-II R’s throughout the cycle or only in the spring? I was complete in July and still haven’t heard back so it’s probably safe to say I’m gonna get an R…I wish they would just give me the R now instead of making me hold out hope til April just to get the R then tbh 🙁

No one knows how schools review apps for the most part. General idea is apps are stratified and looked at based on whatever the school wants (URM, IS/OOS, Research, Academics).

We all just gotta keep hope and be patient unfortunately.
 
Things are just a bit different this year with the timeline, but it doesn't mean anything bad for you guys, its just based on when admissions can meet. Sometimes they meet on Fridays which means there is a chance you may find out on a Saturday too (I did when I got my acceptance a few years ago).
 
for those who interviewed, do you ever know ahead of time who you will be talking with?

Not completely unheard of them to call but I wouldn't expect it to be a blocked number. Look out for a 757 area code. But in the majority of cases, you'll find out via email
