May I ask when you sent yours back to them? I sent it back the same day I got my date/time but it hasn't been uploaded yet.

I think they meant for the initial interview confirmation. I'm not sure if we receive confirmation of them receiving our form that we get after receiving our day/time. I dont see anything currently and I also sent mine back soon after getting my day/time

Didn't your initial question ask about the virtual interview form? You don't get the initial interview confirmation form until you get a date and time.

I got an interview at Indiana during my previous cycle but cancelled due to a conflicting interview. Do you think that they maintain communication records or just my app is less competitive this go around (for obvious reasons)

Just another applicant here, but they have a HUGE instate bias. I think close to 75-80% of the class is IS.

Hi! I think this is a fair question. I received an II from Indiana and I truly think it was holistic. I think this term is thrown into context a lot, but I think they are looking at fit. Also, I think my writing helped significantly despite how my LM is much lower than yours (I edit writing for a living). And of course, best of luck!

Keep waiting. This is pretty much just how IU rolls. They download apps in order of priority. You get notified when they download your app.

it’s not uncommon to get totally ghosted by IU for months on end, especially for OOS people.

I asked this and they told me we only need to attend the check-in and the interview. The other sessions are optional.

As the other person stated, they are optional! Just review the provided presentation during free time and check-in for interview 45 mins before designated time 🙂

You're supposed to upload it to your portal. The admissions office doesn't give out interviewers' contact info.

edit: is it recommended to send notes? I know some schools say not to.

edit #2: I just emailed the address my check-in person gave me this morning asking if thank you notes are accepted and if so, where can I send them to. I’ll let you all know what they say.

It takes a bit of time for them to schedule it. I received an invite 8/4 and got my day/time on 8/26. Just make sure you've completed all the necessary steps and be patient, you should receive a date soon! 🙂
