So I got a response from UCR about LOIs. If we've interviewed we can submit more than one. So my plan is to submit a letter of interest now and possibly a letter of intent later.

Interests just express continued interest in the program while intent expressed that if you are accepted you will matriculate into the program.

I feel like the UCR med school doesn't care about their own UCR undergrad alumni. I graduated from UCR undergrad and have been involved in the Inland Empire and I have heard nothing back and gotten no II.

it doesn’t mean you’re definitely waitlisted if your interview date has passed. last year, decisions didn’t really correlate to interview date, it’s really random. so keep the hope!
