Same here! I am hoping they send some more today but now it’s just a waiting game.. We won’t know when the next batch is especially now that it’s holiday season.
I think there's no reason to start worrying. There's still plenty of time before match day, and then even more time after match day that an offer can still be extended. They mentioned they'd be sending prematches up until Christmas, so this is going to be a slow process, and not everybody who will be accepted is going to prematch, and not everybody who prematches will accept. It's stressful, but if you lose hope already you're only setting yourself up for failure

Same. My anxiety is off the charts lol. But we will all end up where we are meant to be! I have faith in us.
They’ll be sending them after christmas too!

You're right. Honestly, since I'm a reapplicant my confidence is at an all time low lol but I just need to chill.
Don't worry, I am anxious as well. But this is what I have been repeating to myself because I can't freak out now. This process is way too long for that
You will be fine.
In theory you are one of their top applicants based on stats but based on their mission, they have to trust that someone who is studying or working in UTT is more apt to choose to live around the area when they become a doctor.

I appreciate the kind words! I do think they would prioritize students that currently go to school/work in ETX more (as on their end that means they're more likely to stay in the future). Idk, like you and others have said I should just chill. It's just been a hard couple of weeks for me, especially with people (who mean well) who ask me if I have been accepted yet.
Hang in there! Hope you get into your top choice.

Yes it is still super early and if only say 5-10 max went out yesterday then there are still 30-35 more to go over the next few weeks! Also feel free to message me with any questions y’all may have, and I hope to start hearing soon on more pre-matches!
It is kind of painful to have to answer questions, especially with several rounds of holidays coming up. Just say you will be first to know when I know something so they dont keep asking.
I highly doubt they have reached out to 5 or 10 already and we dont know about it. Not sure what @mfd98 ties are to the school but I am guessing both of you fit some profile the school has in mind so the first calls went to you.
That would be both interesting and terrifying
it would make sense in my mind to do it weekly so that new interviewees can be factored in

do you mind sharing your stats?
They send a RSVP link a few days before.

I can't wait to find out on Monday if y'all get more prematches, then we'll know it might be happening on a weekly basis. Gotta stop compulsively refreshing this thread. Happy Thanksgiving!
the worst part of this is having zero precedent- i have no clue what’s coming next
Hopefully next year you be both a student there and an expert resource here.
i’m paying it forward by coming back for sure 🫶 accept me now plz
Is ANYONE seeing UTT in their match ranking list? I was the first date and still have nothing. Technically I don’t need to be concerned that they “forgot me” until late Jan right?
Accepted peeps: do you have it?
Accepted peeps: do you have it?
I'm in the same boat as you
Mine is still not in there. They said there was a glitch in their system.

Also waiting to rank UTT… I was told by admissions last week that it should be available. Never appeared so I reached out again and have not received a response.
When did you interview?

Happy ThanksGiving everyone.
I'm not accepted lol but I interviewed on 9/20 and it just showed up in TMDSAS for me to rank about a week ago.
the week is here for those who may get accepted actually on Dec 1! 😭 good luck to everyone 🫶
They need to hurry up and start sending acceptances so I can fill up my Pinterest board with room decoration ideas and start planning where I’ll shop for groceries if I’m not bogged down with studying haha.
praying they send them before finals 😭
They could even come tomorrow since they’ve started early and sent some last Monday! Hopefully we see some posts this week! Good luck on your finals!
For anyone who has a December 20th or later interview slot check your email! They opened up spots for an earlier interview.

Who knows, but I'd imagine they wouldn't send post-secondary Rs until rank lists are due.
UTMB already sent me one so maybe

Has anyone received a R since submitting their secondary ?

Yeah that was interesting they did that, but most TMDSAS schools elect to just put you on “hold” until February and I imagine UTT to be the same
Different schools try different things which they may or may not repeat. Fertitta sent out rejections pre II very early in cycle before it became Fertitta (last fall) but did not repeat this year.
UTMB sent pre II Rs mid november this year which they have not done before.

I don’t really care what other schools do as long as Tyler admits me (preferably before Christmas) 🤷♀️
As a former Tyler resident, (who will most likely not be returning since the med school doesn't seem interested in my app) you will LOVE Fresh! It's definitely on the pricy end, but they have amazing fresh juice and great specialty products. I miss that place!

It's still early in the cycle! Believe in yourself, you are NOT out of the running!
Mathematically speaking is pretty much over.
I don’t think it’s early in the cycle anymore, but I imagine there’s still a handful of invites that will go out if they added a new interview date recently.
Why does your signature say "never stop dreaming", then!??!?!!? 😉
Appreciate the positivity! I sent my secondary in very early, so I believe they've reviewed my app. But I will continue to hold on to a sliver of hope!
