Hey guys! Any recent interviewees know the anticipated dates of acceptances? I saw different dates posted on here before mine in mid-november and was waiting to see what would be written during my session but no exact dates were given and it just said december.
12/23, 1/20 (MSTP heavy), 2/17, and 3/10 I think. Confident on the first three dates I listed, I'm pretty sure the last/final status date is going to be sometime that second week of March.

Will everyone hear back on these dates, even if it's a "deferred"?

FWIW this was listed in one of their information sessions:

I interviewed in September and had 12/19, 1/16 (MSTP heavy), 2/13, 3/6 as the notification dates on the dean's information session, but apparently in later interview days they changed it to 12/23, 1/20 (MSTP heavy), ......... so they must've pushed back their notification dates slightly because I would assume the most recent informationals are the most accurate

if not accepted in the first wave, does that mean you've been waitlisted/rejected or do you still have a chance in the next waves?

I wonder if the admissions office will start making A calls this week like they did last year

Does anyone have a sense of whether November interviewees might hear back with this wave/how they do their cutoffs? How quick is their turnaround?

I think November interviewees will be considered for the 12/23 wave. According to last year’s SDN forum, an early December interviewee got the A during the December wave.

someone in reddit was saying they are done with interviews invites for the rest of the year?

Looking at past years it looks like they started calling Thursday/Friday! Specifically around 4pm central time-ish.

I’m neurotic asf and literally been on the edge of my seat since yesterday… hopeful and best of luck to everybody!

Goodluck friend!!! Praying you get the A!

Apologies if someone already covered it; are the calls more or less up to the discretion of the interviewers, and then formal emails come out on Monday?

Or, to the best of our current knowledge anyway

It sounds like the admissions deans are the ones calling rather than interviewers. So this would be a phone call to say “yay you got in!!!” and then your portal would update/official email comes out on Monday.

Sounds like they also do try to call everybody but the text on their website (“Most applicants receive a personal phone call…”) just covers their bases in case they can’t for whatever reason (or forget lol).

That being said, idk I don’t work there I just read a lot of forums bc I have nothing better to do w my time apparently 🤷‍

i was specifically told at my interview date that they would release their first wave on dec 19, but apparently others have been told dec 23rd?

I was told that as well, though the consensus seems to be that they changed it at some point.

I had a screencap of one of their presentations quoting the 19th, though the portal now shows the 23rd. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

right, thanks — didn't even think to check the portal lol

i guess we ride on monday 🫡

Tomorrow makes sense (it’s 5pm there now) but it would be a little funny if they decided not to call anybody at all this year
