I’m really sorry to hear that. I know how uncertain the waiting can be, and totally understand the anxiety.I haven't received anything but newsletters so far this cycle. Feelsbadman
I have no idea 💀You’re collecting interview invites like Thanos collected Infinity Stones. What’s your secret?
Let everyone know that Dr. Hagermann is a funny
bro cured cancer and raised 10 billion dollars for the homelessI have no idea 💀
seems like MSTP committees dont give af about what day they send you an R hahakttm - Sunday night? Sorry!
@thunderlight8 It should be in the same confirmation email you got after you scheduled your interview! Both the student session + dean session.Just had my interviews here and they were pretty relaxed imo!
does anyone know how to get into the deans greeting sessions later?
Found it, thank you!It should be in the same confirmation email you got after you scheduled your interview! Both the student session + dean session.
Quick question: when did/where did you get information about the interviewers for your interview day + times of your interviews?
it was cars basically, except with more medicine focused questionsFor those who interviewed already, how did the Kira portion go? what was the format?
They have a video on their YouTube channel “state of medical school” or something like that. It’s somewhere around 33 percent or somethingAny idea what is the yield of this school?
Very easy with practice included to get you warm. Format is Casper like but not as weird feeling. For those who interviewed already, how did the Kira portion go? what was the format?
I attended same dayIf I have my interview on Tuesday, do I attend the deans welcome the week prior or attend it on the same day?
For anyone who did the kira portion: is it basically just ethical scenarios? or not necessarily ethical but like conflict resolution and all the other casper stuff. this is my only interview and i really dont wanna mess this up.Very easy with practice included to get you warm. Format is Casper like but not as weird feeling.
Congratulations!! Here is also a 2024-2025 MD-PhD Interview Invites thread if you're willing to post there about it too!OOS MSTP II today, complete mid-September, LizzyM: 74
They mentioned the first day was like mid December? I have it written down but I don’t have the date on me rn. Then there is a date each month after that when they will release decisionsWhen do we hear back after interviews?
As early as week of Christmas and as late as 3/6/25 is what I remember from Deans WelcomeWhen do we hear back after interviews?
When do we hear back after interviews?
LOL ig we were all told dif. these might be more correct and updated perhaps, as I was told in SeptI attended the Dean's Greeting on 10/22 for MD interviewees, the decision dates on the slideshow were 12/23, 1/20, 2/17, and 3/20.
Just checked my notes and this is what I have as wellI attended the Dean's Greeting on 10/22 for MD interviewees, the decision dates on the slideshow were 12/23, 1/20, 2/17, and 3/20.
yay congrats! when were you complete?OOS II +1!
Oops forgot to include that: complete 7/26data_gen_machine Congrats! When were you complete? Good luck with your interview!
So there aren’t Post-II rejections?Yeah. I think Dr. Hagemann said if you don't get accepted during any of the four waves, you just get waitlisted in March.
yes they are the same both days and you only need to go to oneIs the Dean's session the same for both days? I only need to go to one right
when i got the invite back in August it took several days for the portal to update with dates so just keep checking backI just logged on and saw there are no interview dates. Has anyone been able to register today, or did they fill up already?
This has been the case for many years, so I imagine it is still the case this year!According to MSAR, it seems that WashU interviews more than 1/4 of their applicants? Is this still true/does anyone who has attended an interview know if they are still interviewing this percentage of applicants?
Fingers crossed that I can get an interview here then! silence so far lolThis has been the case for many years, so I imagine it is still the case this year!
WashU is famous for interviewing nearly everyone with a high MCAT score. It’s also why they have a low post-interview acceptance rate.
