on the website it says there will be a jan 20 admissions day this cycle which is soon!
this wave will primarily be MD/PhD acceptances which is why ppl are talking feb/march!
Anyone know if people with Sept/Oct interviews can get an A during subsequent waves? Sad to have not received a call today

I think you can be considered for each wave! That being said I’ve accepted that I’ll be taking the L at this school 🫶🏾 but wish you all the absolute best of luck!

Any INTL students get a call? Do we know if schools usually call international students if our phone number is not in the US?

From my understanding, in previous years everyone accepted got a call the previous week before it was posted on the portal but I could be totally wrong and would be happy to stand corrected
It was discussed somewhere earlier in the thread; portal says admissions decisions are released on the 23rd. "In many cases...applicants will also receive...a phone call."

Could be that everyone gets one, but it has not been stated that that's the case

If they don't take me this wave or this cycle, it is because I stole so much of their printer paper and for the many times I malded in their library while studying for the MCAT, and I completely deserve it

Olin library beloved <3

Their website says there is no correlation between the date we interview and the date we may get an offer and I am really banking on that lol.

Is there a correlation between the timing of receiving an "A" and the likelihood of being awarded a merit scholarship? Given that only a small group of students are accepted in December, are they more likely to receive a full or half-ride?
Fairly certain no one can answer that with any certainty

i know two people who got in off of the waitlist this past cycle and still received half-tuition merit scholarships, so it’s really a toss up

Have there been experiences of people getting an A without a call?

Any idea roughly when the portal should update? (for those of us who didn't receive a call but are delulu nonetheless)

Does anyone know where the portal update would be? I thought it might be under 'status,' but I only have app submitted/fee paid/app processed showing up under this section, even though I already had my interview.
