complete emails exist from rosalind franklin?! i emailed 5 times and called 3 times just to check if they have received my application and no response at all...what is with this school?

maybe they don't like being harassed?

I e-mailed them this morning to ask if my supplemental and check had arrived, and they e-mailed back really quickly this afternoon and said that they had received them, and that they will send me an e-mail when my file is complete. They seemed pretty enthusiastic and not bothered at all. I'm not sure why they didn't answer your e-mail, did you give them your AMCAS number?

The rule I go by is this: If they have cashed my check, and if I know AMCAS has taken care of my letters, I assume that everything is good.

Received a "compelete" email yesterday. I think I mailed the secondary around the 14th or 15th.

I considered that until I began to think about the volume of e-mails each office receives. As nice as a "thank you" is, I would assume one less e-mail to read and delete makes their lives easier.

I just got my supplemental RETURNED to me by mail, stating that I had not sent my check. But they CASHED my check on the 22nd and my application was stamped as received on the 21st.
Needless to say, I am pretty peeved, and am calling them in the morning.

This is why schools need to have online applications...

thoughts on whether they care if my roommate writes this check for me? i don't own any checks as my bank charges for them and this is literally the one single exception where i can't use my credit card.

as long as i put my name/amcas ID in the memo, should be ok, especially since it is mailed with the app?

as long as your name and ID is on there it should be fine! they wont know if its your roommate or one of your parents 😉

This is odd, and will worry a lot of you that didn't get the ''we have received your CMS supplemental application and application fee." email yet...

I got the confirmed email on July 29th.
I mailed mine July 27th

BUT they still haven't cashed my check. wtf? 😕

same here... but i snail mailed on July 20th, emailed twice asking for confirmations, and finally recieved a "complete" mail today, Aug. 5th

no- I think that if you sent your application with FedEx or some other mail service were they have to sign for it you get notified of a complete application right when they get it because once they have signed for it they are legally responsible for it (you can call and say "XX" person signed for it so why are you saying you have not received it). If you just send it regular mail they can get back to you whenever they want because you have no way of really knowing when they got it. So for those of you who have not yet send in your application send it registered and you will save yourself allot of worrying.

I sent my via regular mail and got a confirmation within a week or 2. If you're OCD about it send it via registered mail and obsessively call/email them.

Or everyone could just chill because if you sent in what you're supposed to then you are complete.

I sent mine in a couple of days ago using overnight shipping. I checked the UPS track schedule and I saw that it had arrived and was "ready to be picked-up at some box"....did anyone else have this problem? All the other paper secondaries I have done all went directly to the school, but apparently Rosalind Franklin has a pick up box?

seriously don't worry about it. Its probably a PO Box or their mailroom. They will get your app!

Example: If your application goes missing, but they signed for it, they are contractually obligated to cover its worth. If your $100 check was in the package that they signed for but lost, you can sue them if they refuse your application.

They JUST cashed my check today and I got my complete email a while back (its on my MDapps somewhere).
