has anyone been small-pooled lately? I was complete at the end of october, and i emailed them earlier in the week--they said i was in the "preliminary screening" phase

According to the 08-09 MSAR they're about 3.6/31. You can check the latest MSAR to see if it's gone up; I think the average GPA may be 3.7 now.

Good luck. They seem to accept a fairly high proportion of interviewees, so I'd say your chances are pretty good.

I feel spoiled because at least I have heard back and gotten put on hold, but my god I feel like this is more agony then waiting for an interview. I am so close, yet so far! I called today, and all I can say is the committee has not met for December. And that the day they meet is "extremely confidential but they will meet before the first of the year." Lol.

Yeah, I think it is every month. I'm not sure if you'll hear by late Jan though.

my guess is that they'll meet after your interview. I interviewed 11/16 and was accepted 11/24 (i got VERY lucky having such a fast turn around time)

RFU offer any scholarships for students that attend to help offset such a high tuition?? 40,000 a year in tuition alone is a lot of money.

Yea I've been waiting since 11/2 and it does suck. However, I haven't seen anyone get a invite in this thread since mid November, so they might have stopped giving out invites until the new year. I don't know what the odds are after getting small pooled, but you should have a good shot at getting one.

Yeah def, especially since they interview until May. Too bad they don't accept update letters, at least not until post interview.

I wonder until what Month they have scheduled interviews already, if its already Feb-March, then it doesn't look too good. Just speculating tho
