Did you see any rejections on the acceptance day?i just stalked last years thread...hope is slowly shriveling away for me 🙁
they send the status check to you after you submited your secondary
So then have all acceptances been given out?
Waitlisted as well. Can't say I'm too surprised about this one, perhaps even surprised it's not a rejection! Congrats to those accepted and good luck to all those on the waitlist 🙂

Our disastrous interview days weren't as bad as we thought!
So on the WL form, what does it mean by "dates"... the window of time that you'll be available at that address/phone number?
Does anybody know how many people get waitlisted every year and how many come off the waitlist??
Waitlisted, will be withdrawing. Here's an interview tip, future applicants: don't bring up communism, Canada > USA, or Kim Kardashian during a med school interview. Never turns out well.
ETA: Especially when the sentence begins with: "I admire Kim Kardashian..."
Does anyone know WHEN the waitlist sees movement? Like, does it only start may 1st?
Anyone (current students?) know the program for the revisit weekend May 4-5? Curious about what fun we may have 🙂 Also, do we stay overnight in a hotel or with students?

And to those that were waitlisted, hang in there, waitlist movement usually starts after May 15th when other people give up spots. I'm a first-year here, and there are a good number of us (including myself) that got off the waitlist.
We're planning a really fun revisit weekend! I don't want to give away any surprises, but you can choose to stay with us first years :]

Haha, I meant, does Cornell cover the hotel option?
Hi Melokia, if you don't mind me asking, when were you offered a spot off the waitlist?
I got off the waitlist June 3rd-ish, but I know some of my classmates got off the list even later than that.
And I'm not sure about the hotel thing..
If you already had other school ACCEPTANCE but not your 1st choice, do you know if schools have you as WL will drop you from their list and you will not have chance to get any ACCP from any of your WL schools?
Schools where you are waitlisted do not drop you because you are holding on to an acceptance. There is a chance of still getting an acceptance off of a waitlist but you shouldn't count on it (as a worst case scenario. Once you have one acceptance, for all intents and purposes that school is now your "first choice" until you get another acceptance. If you already had other school ACCEPTANCE but not your 1st choice, do you know if schools have you as WL will drop you from their list and you will not have chance to get any ACCP from any of your WL schools?
how feasible would it be to get an mba? Is there a connection with the business school that would facilitate admissions for medical students?
