Congrats everyone! I, too, just got an acceptance call from Dr. Berman. He must either have interviewed a ton of people or somehow interviewed lots of sdners! Good luck to those still waiting, I'm sure good news is on the way!

I specifically remember the assistant dean (only because Dr. Witzburg was out of town) telling us that we'd all receive some decision on January 15th. Did anyone else hear this, lol?

Same. I remember hearing this as well from the assistant dean. However, some guy/girl who got accepted two days ago said the interviewer said that official acceptance letters will be sent out on Friday. Whether that means emails or snail mail, I have no idea..

I know this is splitting hairs and you already said it was sent by your interviewer but was it something that was purely standard or did it have some personalization to it. In other words, I'm trying to discern if the email being sent out is solely due to the interviewer sending it or whether it's some default email all accepted applicants should be getting. Also, congratulations on the acceptance!

I was accepted via a phone call only and no email. I would say that the interviewer is probably not required to email their applicants, but I'd bet that they would make their emails somewhat personalized.

Thanks 🙂 and I would say it was sent out solely due to my interviewer -- doesn't seem like a standard mass email to all accepted applicants.

I don't know if this will work, but I scheduled my interview for January 22 earlier today, but apparently the confirmation didn't go through and I have since been offered a different date. I have already booked my flights thinking that I would be heading to Boston for the 22nd. If anyone here is interviewing on Jan 22 and wouldn't mind trading interview dates (they offered me Jan 13 or Feb 5), please PM me!! Thanks!
