I looked at previous threads and they have always updated them on Saturday 12AM Central Time.

I wasn't calling you a liar 🙂 just using your post as an example of the kind of hearsay that gets us all riled up, myself included. Gets us all really randy for those updates, you know.
 
Tick tock.... But would they update portals but not call anyone? Doesn't really sound legit.

I actually was stoic enough to go to bed 2 hours ago, fell asleep, had some dream that i couldn't remember. Only to wake up at exactly 12am central time! Well then of course I checked the portal which was the same old portal.

It takes skills to be this neurotic.

I'm surprised too! I was going to let the phone call goes to VM because I never thought it would be from admission office. I actually customized the VM greetings in anticipation, would have been funny.

guess i was skipped over for this second round of admissions as well...such a bummer, i really liked the school when i visited and thought for sure that WashU and I would be compatible...=(

I think rather than being passed on twice, you were simply deferred to a later meeting. Dean Ratts said they hadn't fully determined this year's process of sending out acceptances because of many changes they wanted to make to improve the admission process. She clearly said that she expected many acceptances would actually go out in March or even April. So don't be discouraged!

Haha, thanks. It hasn't changed. Would have loved to have some proof except the memory of the phone call to tell myself that I actually got in
 
This may be an idiotic question but... what's the dresscode for the pizza dinner on Interview Eve?
 
It's extremely casual. Many of the students who dropped by when I was there were in gym clothes/sweatpants.

Accepted here last Thursday (12/18)... Got a call on the way home from work! Just in time for Christmas 😍

The portal will have a new "Visit Arrangements" tab that shows your interview schedule and the names of your interviewers. Three days before my interview I received an e-mail telling me to check this tab. Good luck!

So, I was randomly checking app portals today and saw that I apparently have been invited to interview according to my status. However, I haven't received an email? Did this happen to anyone else? I am ready to celebrate but fear it may be a mistake!

Upon reading your quote, I checked my portal as well, II! And apparently, this does happen. I don't think we need to send them an email, just select an option in the interview arrangements.

This happened to me and I received an email around 7 or 8pm that confirmed the invite! If I recall correctly, another person got a portal invite and not an email invite, so they called to confirm with the interview office and it was not a mistake. So I would say if you don't get an email tonight, call the office tomorrow!

I emailed dean Ratts with my update, because on my interview day she said we could email updates to her. Haven't gotten a response yet though 🙁 (emailed it on Sunday I think) was that the wrong way to go?
