Do they send out a "Funding Your Education" to everyone? Anyone else get this one?
 
how long does it take for this school to give you any response after you submit your secondary??
 
Just got an email saying "This is to advise that your file is now complete and your application is in review. You will be notified of our decision by postal mail."
Thought I was all submitted in late August.

Haha! Yes, I should know by now to just state these things. Lizzy M ~75, OOS, complete early July (can't find when exactly).
 
Non SDA II too. Can anyone share their experience on the interview day here?
 
Is there an update on the portal for any of those that have gotten an II? Just want to know if it's worth checking it often..

I interviewed late September! My interview was about 30-40 minutes. It was only with Dr. Roddy. I'm not sure if your experience will be different because I'm SDA and the admissions director came to my college. Questions were pretty typical and had to do with getting to know you as a person. Best of luck!
 
how do you check your status on your application? when I click status on their portal, it's just a summary of my personal information and shows nothing about the status of my application.
 
502. 126/124/126/126.
3.89 GPA, and I don't know my science GPA but I know it's higher, not lower.

Worked as an MA for a semester. Have almost 2000 hours of service projects (summer mission trips). Working on publishing research. About 30 hours of job shadowing. Student Association President this year.

Looking to go to LLU

Any chance?

Sadly, LLU shows a huge preference for Seventh-Day Adventists. However, they do like service so the hours are definitely going to set you apart. Good luck!

LLU aspires to promote effective collaboration by integrating discipline-specific practices, roles, and values while utilizing evidence-based communication strategies in simulation and clinical settings. Healthcare professionals will support one another while solving problems, exploring best practices, and researching interdisciplinary approaches to ensure quality whole person care.

For those of you who received interviews, did you also get the email confirming the details of the interview?
 
has anyone heard back for an II since submitting in late august/early sept?
 
I am worried that my answers on the secondary were perhaps a little too religious. Anyone else feels like this?

I think I may have felt like that for a little.. but they're very explicit in their declarations of faith, so I think you shouldn't worry

Has anybody received any II's lately??

Nope.... I was pretty sure I would get one considering I'm Christian and got a letter from my church leader.... so weird. Do you know when's their last interview dates?
 
I really would love to go here. Currently working with a NP student from Loma Linda and she's amazing!!
 
It's been really quiet on this thread. Has anyone gotten a II lately?
