do you know if we could theoretically get into just regular MD without PURCH or would we only get off the waitlist if someone from PURCH drops out? I was kinda confused by the email wording

You can get accepted to the regular MD program even if you don’t get into PURCH.

My plan was to stay on until my other CTE deadline comes up. There's a chance that UMass can be far cheaper than my current acceptance and it seems like it's worth holding on to.

Yeah, I agree. I'm assuming that in-state and OOS students have a separate waitlist priority? Hopefully us OOS students get some movement as well 🙁

MSAR says that about 70 students are accepted off the waitlist. Don’t lose hope! Those acceptances are just beginning! Even if it’s a bad year, there should be quite a few more.

As of now, lectures are all virtual but labs and small groups are going to be meeting in person. They are taking a hybrid approach.
