This is weird too, because last year they went MUCH longer than end of November if I remember correctly. I know the cycle started later but not by much.if interview dates are already in february, does this mean everyone who did not get an II is likely to be rejected 🙁
This interview wave looked like it was only for Berg scholars but I could be wrong...if interview dates are already in february, does this mean everyone who did not get an II is likely to be rejected 🙁
Nothing yet. Have you completed the video and everything?Any KH applicants get an interview yet?
Any KH applicants get an interview yet?
like january-march in 3 separate datesAnyone know when their decision release dates will be?
It doesn’t mean an R. They just stop accepting updates ~ 2 weeks post interview. For others who interviewed in September, did the update tab on your portal disappear too? Does this mean an R?
Am I right in assuming that the traditional interview is closed file?
Does anyone know when the interview day starts and ends?
$95,154Stanfords financial aid website is confusing with this quarter system thing. Curious if anyone know Stanford ‘s COA without aid?
I just choked omg$95,154
Their financial aid is very good, though.I just choked omg
It is kind of controlled price tag since rent is exhorbitant in Palo Alto and Stanford is providing subsidized housing.?? Thats like standard
Oh I know. To be honest, every time I look at a med school price I get sticker shock lol.?? Thats like standard
Congratulations! Can I DM you about the video?Submitted KH Video over the weekend, deadline is Dec 11. All the best to everyone that applied and hope some of us will be lucky enough to get an invite!!
Actually: For anyone that did the video-- I've already got mine but I was wondering if you were open to sharing what you did it on? I'm curious to see which way people went with it.Congratulations! Can I DM you about the video?

Raw $ numbers for tuition are very misleading due to how tuition is structured. Average graduating debt (at least the last time I looked up the numbers) is < 100k for the entire degree.
Medscholars and TAing is also a lot of money and easy to get. I made about 40 grand between TAing and medscholars research during MS1-MS2 for reference.
Tuition drops to 20% after 12 full quarters (if you finish in 4 years, this is 3q tuition MS1, 4q tuition MS2-3, then only 1q of full tuition during MS4). Splitting or doing a research year (finish in 5 years) should also work out to be cost neutral vs. 4 years for the vast majority of people due to this combined with research funding options.
Financial aid is incredibly good and makes CoA super difficult to gauge until you get your financial aid letter as need-based grants of up to 80% tuition are automatically given on an uncapped basis (a good chunk of people on top of this also get 100% tuition or 100% tuition + stipend need-based grants, but these are case by case).
On campus housing is also heavily subsidized - $1300/month including all utilities if you live with 1 roommate (typical 2-bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment). Most people stay in the on campus housing, but if you need to live off-campus, living costs will almost definitely be much higher.
If no II yet...is it an R?
Congrats!! I suspect KH probably likes you. What are the available dates or when have you been scheduled to interview?II just now OMFG i am freaking out
applied for KH as well and submitted video last week
It says its been scheduled... i don't know what that means but no dates show upCongrats!! I suspect KH probably likes you. What are the available dates or when have you been scheduled to interview?
Last night (12/14/19)Congrats, when did you hear? Looks like you folks will get KH too!
I think soAre they still interviewing for regular MD, not Berg or KH?
Hi all! I received an interview invite for the Berg Scholars program, but am currently holding two MSTP acceptances. Can anyone clarify the Berg funding? Do you pay tuition for years 1+2?
Congrats on those who recently got II's! When are they currently scheduling interviews for?
Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the last batch of II went out to Knight-Hennessy applicants this past Saturday. Everyone I have talked to that received an II recently were all scheduled for the same day in mid February (the date was chosen for us) relatively close to the immersion weekend for the KH program.

They sent out all of the KH-MD II's in one go? Obviously hoping beyond hope that you're wrong lol but if they were going to do that, I wonder why they say that they'll send out decisions Jan. 15th. I can't imagine that anyone is giving up that II
