If I get one more “let’s talk about your car insurance” call from salt lake I swear I’m going to loose it. Happened twice today. How do they know I have to answer 😆

Yeah, it’s so interesting that I hear all the time “2/3 of acceptances are sent in March,” but that seems wayyy off to me.
I’m trying not to be to hard on myself but I’m not very good at it haha.
I just wish they wouldn’t make us wait until March for the rejection, put me out of my misery already 🤣

At my day they definitely said 2/3 of acceptances.

Off the waitlist? Or just plain accepted?

Not sure, but they're medical students either way! And from what I've seen the U has a really high yield (107 As for 90 IS spots according to a spreadsheet I saw) so I would assume plain accepted.

Well the fact that there are 60 in the Facebook group would lead one to assume that it can’t be 2/3 that are accepted in March because more than 50% of seats are already filled (and it’s still January—we still have February acceptances to add).

They say the “2/3 of acceptances in March” thing every year, but it just doesn’t seem factual, at least in my opinion.

There are currently 61 members in the FB group, 1 of which is Dr. Chan and 1 that is an admin, presumably an M2.

If I remember correctly they interview through February, but not sure how far into February. Maybe that is changed as of this year though.

Edit to update: just called the admissions office to inquire and was told that my application is under review and that there are only a few interview dates left. Good times.

SAME! Seriously every spam call I've gotten lately comes from an 801 number now and it stresses me out every time I see an unknown Utah caller.

Yes, that’s the number it comes from! I would assume Dr. Chan does that so his direct line doesn’t end up on SDN lol
