Sent mine 10/19... still waiting as well!
Welcome to the club!Submitted my secondary on September 26th and was just randomly logging in to my portals and saw that I have been placed "on hold for re-review". I didn't even get an email notifying me about my hold... so I have no clue how long it's been like this.
also wondering this!!!Has anyone written an update letter post-II before hearing back?
to clarify I interviewed on 10/27
Nope, I had no problems, It does seem like pretty generic credentials to me.Is anyone else having trouble logging into the interview portal that Donovan sent? I feel like I'm putting in the wrong password or something lol

Yep! I've had an update ready in the queue to send to GW for a few weeks, but waited until after my interview to send it in case there were aspects of the interview day to include in the letteralso wondering this!!!
I feel you there... still on hold.thoughts on having no IIs yet??? i am going to cry
yes I think they encourage itDo they accept post-hold update?
Complete 10/5, still under review w/ no hold.Complete Oct 21/20. On hold Nov 14/20.
I interviewed with a dean of admissions! When I joined the call my initial thought was it was a mistake and they'd leave soon so my real interviewer could join lol.im seeing a few people say that their interview was with the director of admissions! did anyone else interview with the director or a dean? or did you guys have other faculty?
The dean interviewing applicants is interesting because GW holds blind interviews. I would assume the dean would be involved in the process, no? I wonder if this is due to interviews being virtual this year or maybe dean does not look at applications until post-ii?I interviewed with a dean of admissions! I got the faculty link 11/2 for my 11/6 interview, but got the student one on 11/5. Then day of I got a call saying my faculty interview was rescheduled, so I got a new link day of!I've got an interview scheduled and confirmed for this Tuesday, 11/17 but still haven't heard anything regarding my interview time. They said in their initial email that I would be notified no later than 24 hrs before my interview, but did anyone else who interviewed with GW have a similar experience? I'm planning on emailing/calling the admissions office tomorrow, but I'm curious when other folks got their interview details from GW.

Has there been any recent movement off holds?Join the squad!
Received the same status this morning but no email, have you received an email yet?Pretty sure I was just rejected as well. Portal says "Correspondence concerning the status of your application has been sent via e-mail," but no email just yet. Was complete in early September and put on hold in early October. Will update when the email arrives.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but when adding an update (I'm on a pre-II hold), should the text of the update be in an attached PDF, or should the entirety of the update be pasted in the the "message" box?
thanks for letting me know! Lets stay positive and hope for the best 🙂 but have people gotten that correspondence and a reject as well?Nope, nothing yet. I did a reverse search of the exact phrasing of the status update and got one hit in the 2008–2009 thread. Someone said they actually had that status for a few weeks before receiving an interview invite! I'll take any shred of hope I can get, but definitely not going to get ahead of myself here.
Here's the post:

Mid-Nov interview also? haha, honestly waiting is the hardest part, but GW is worth it for me. *crosses fingers* :luck::luck::luck: my thoughts exactly. Throw me on the mid-Nov waiting busforums.studentdoctor.net
Same for me, from what I believe I never went under review! Have people that have received preII Rs received a different status on their portal?Definitely! And good question. I'm also curious about what the update status for IIs has looked like previously? I know that your status goes to "under review" before an II, but not sure what happens after that. I've been checking my portal every day and still had a hold status last I checked (yesterday evening).
I'm fairly confident that that's what the portal says anytime an email is sent to you. Whether that is rejection or acceptance or II...thanks for letting me know! Lets stay positive and hope for the best 🙂 but have people gotten that correspondence and a reject as well?
I got an email - haven't even checked my portal yet loldo people get emails with Rs or checking the portal?
