If they expect at accept about 100 people off the waitlist and their class size last year was about 160, then does this mean more than half of the people who matriculate will likely be from the waitlist? I’m really hopping the movement comes soon. Good luck everyone!

Anyone else still waiting for a decision? Interviewed in September and am still on AC. They have to let us know by the end of the month, right?

Post-II R just now. Interviewed 10/6
Oh no I am so sorry to hear that! Thank you for posting about it. I hate to be that person, but do you mind telling us if you were placed on the WL? I wish you the best of luck with the rest of the cycle!!

I'm just wondering...it's almost the end of the day on April 14 and I still haven't received finaid info. Is it the same for anyone else?

I received mine via email (and saw my NetPartner portal update) towards the end of last week! I'm an OOS student, not sure if they're processing the financial aid packages at different times due to residency status

For those who are planning on PTE, have we gotten any information on sending in the deposit? I think there is a refundable one that is due by April 30th, but I can't find any info on how much, where and how to send it in?

how many spots are on the waitlist? do they really accept around 100 this year off of it? Seems like there's been a lot of posts on this threat about WL and I have to imagine there's a lot more people that don't post here

Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I still have heard nothing. I assume I'll be a Post-II R but would be nice to know and have some direct communication. Interviewed early feb
It’s wild. They must know we see this slow drip of WL/ Rs. Not only this school, all of them, seem to ignore the wellbeing of applicants in my opinion. I get it’s hard to pick a class, but it’s much, much harder waiting months for a decision that is one of the most important of our lives. Hope for future applicants the process changes, tbh.

This!! Also been waiting to hear back from MD/Purch interviews since October. Considering how much work we put into our primary and secondary applications, AAMC Vita, and interviews, it’s really disheartening to realize how little schools care about disseminating application decisions in a timely manner. Very disappointed at this point.

+1 interviewed mid November 😞 ... maybe a bit of hope for you all though - I interviewed in early December for Tufts and just got put on the WL this past Friday. While it wasn’t an A, I was happy to get even that 4 months later.

Is anyone on the waitlist seeing "Your password has expired" on peoplesoft when they log in? I can't change my password or do anything. Did I just get secretly rejected...?

Hi! Does anyone know, either current student or accepted who attended second look etc, if it is possible to live in Boston and commute? Or somewhere in between Boston and Worcester? My partner will need to work in Boston and I am trying to assess how difficult a commute will be with first year classes. Thanks!

Not accepted, but that's almost an hour without traffic so I would imagine that's not really feasible for someone in classes. If your partner is willing to drive some too, your best bet would be to find something somewhere in the middle, maybe around Framingham/Natick which isn't usually TOO expensive an area to live in. luckily you'd probably be going against traffic headed towards boston most of the time so you probably wouldn't deal with too much personally, can't say the same for your partner....

Hi I’m starting there in the fall and I grew up 20 minutes from the school and lived in Boston for the last 6 years. I 100% do not recommend commuting from Boston. Best shot at a compromise would be what the earlier poster said about Framingham/Natick area. But even then it would take you around 40 min commute with little traffic and once traffic picks up again as more people start to work in person again that commute would be impossible. And when traffic picks up commuting along the pike from Boston to Worcester would take almost two hours by car each way and the train about an hour and 15 minutes. From what they’ve been saying living close really gives you the best shot to feel a sense of community.

Yes, it is possible. There are people who live in Boston and commute to Worcester for in-person stuff. There are also people who live between Boston and Worcester. It is possible, but not ideal. You will have to come to campus for anatomy labs, some exams, diagnostic and clinical skills classes, etc. I think people who live in Boston are a little bit more removed from the community in Worcester. Also, keep in mind that living in Worcester is much cheaper than living in Boston.

You should post this question on the 2025 FB group and ask the input of people who live in Boston and commute to Worcester. You will get a better answer there.
