Sorry if this has been asked before, but what is the interview day here like? Just wanted to make sure I'm reading this email correctly - do we just log in for our interviews, and then leave after, with the usual info sessions/student panels/etc being scheduled for a separate day?

yes, it's just the interviews and that's it with separate days for info (truly optional attendance).

Didnt update them but im waiting. I haven’t received any II from SUNYs (I’m IS), so I am just praying at least one II for that IS tuition 😳

Hey y'all.. just hoping on this thread!

Best of luck to everybody 🙂

[Roadtohermd]

Congrats, LM? are you IS or OOS?

[radsboi]

So no batch of As today? :/

So no batch of As today? :/

Looks like one person got A today. My DMs are dry still [emoji30]

[lebjames2313]

Has anyone here gotten their A after the 4 weeks mark? I mean i know they said 6-8 weeks, but looking at the inconsistency here. I'd rather even be told i have a WL or R or something, This silence is killing me.

Sameee. I interviewed same day as the guy that got accepted today (11/17) and I got nothing. GOTTA KEEP THE HOPE UP!

So I went through a couple of old threads (I literally have nothing better to do) and it seems like most accepted students get in 3-4 weeks post-interview but a lot get in after something crazy like 10 weeks. Really inconsistent so I’ve decided to just unsubscribe from this thread and relax (no I haven’t).

[Microbe_Hunter]

11/9 interviewee checking in. Feeling clowned after seeing the guy who interviewed 11/17 get accepted.

[lebjames2313]

Does anyone know how many OOS applicants are lifted off the WL? Looking at the POST II google sheet, we have a post II A rate of 54% but this includes all accepted not just initial Acceptances.

Really appreciate your time going through old threads. It was week 8 for me this week. A little bummed out by not getting an email decision this week, but REALLY trying to hold out hope for a Christmas miracle 🙂

When did you interview?

[DriftingWeightless]

When did you interview?

10/13! So exactly 8 weeks right now. Was hoping to get a decision this week since the Dean said it should be ~8weeks after the interview -- but I have not heard back yet, unfortunately (and will have to put down a deposit for a DO school).

Current M1, feel free to ask me / PM me any questions! 🙂

How do I get accepted?

10/9 interview, still waiting :/

I apologize if this has already been asked, but has anyone sent a post-interview update? I wanted to send my new grades but am unsure how to go about it. I see the spot in the portal to upload documents but I vaguely remember them saying during the interview day to email the interview coordinator about updates so that they know to look for them.

Yeah so at my interview day, they explained that they don't go back into your portal after you interview unless you tell them that something is there. so I would upload your grades to the portal, but then also email stony admissions and tell them that you uploaded new grades in your portal (and maybe attach the transcript in the email too)

Did anyone get pre-II rejections from stony? Or do they wait until March to release rejections?

[Roadtohermd]

Congrats, LM? are you IS or OOS?

I'm International

[qwertyjuice]

WL, good luck everyone!

[winter_Ad3030]

WL, OOS. Anyone know if the WL is ranked or when we could expect to see movement?

[Microbe_Hunter]

Just got a WL as well, **** me, interviewed early-mid November, IS

[DorianDinosaur]

WL, IS 😕 Interviewed mid-November. Would also like to know if their WL is ranked!

[Martin van Nostrand]

Just got the WL email.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the regular WL and HPWL email?

As per last year's thread, most people put on HPWL end up with an A. It's basically the tippy top of the WL pool.

Yes, but what I am asking is if there is any way of knowing whether you were placed on the HPWL or the regular WL?

[lovepickles]

WL too 🙁 interviewed mid-October

[lovepickles]

has anyone been placed on the HPWL?

Oh! I'm dumb. I think they explicitly stated you were in the HPWL in the emails sent last year.

Edit: theres also a possibility that there is no HPWL this year too, i think people were pretty surprised when it came out all of a sudden last year

Waitlisted, damn. Only school I've interviewed with/will interview with that's rolling so it's going to be a long winter for me. 🙁

I'll definitely be sending a letter of interest though!
