They called like an hour ago. I was at work and missed it! Will do, that’s around when I interviewed too
 
Interviewed 10/21, haven't heard anything yet. 513mcat, 4.0sgpa, 3.98cgpa, strong ties to ie, ucr alumni... I'm dying inside 😭

Hello everyone! I hope your New Year is going well so far. Quick question because I am at work and do not have my notes in front of me and do not see it on their website: does UCR require both parent's info to qualify for financial aid?

Damn this is wild considering I feel like they havent sent that many As out yet. I wonder when they’re gonna start an actual rollout, cant help but feel like theyre behind rn
 
Sorry to hear about the pre-ii holds. What does the email say? Will they re-review your app at a later time?

Your application has been carefully reviewed by our Admissions Committee and has been placed on hold. If the Admissions Committee should decide to invite you to come interview, we will notify you in the upcoming weeks. Our interview cycle will conclude in mid-March 2022.
 
I'm not sure if there is any hope. Has anyone been rejected from UCR pre II yet? If not then they are probably either doing II or pre II hold and I guess the hold will turn into an R after they are done interviewing.
 
+1 for the pre-II hold. IS, complete early Sept. Not sure if this is basically an R or not?
 
Not trying to be a debbie downer, just giving my experience. Two years ago I got placed on hold that eventually turned into an R after they were done interviewing. Can't remember if anyone made it out of the hold list that cycle.
 
Last year I got an R in March. This year I was put on hold. Hopefully there’s still hope with hold!
 
i sent in a very last-minute application update letter on the portal and then less than 5 minutes later got the pre-II hold. Ngl I was like LMAO and taken aback thinking it was because I reminded them I exist but now I see im not the only one hah.

i think that was just a coincidence. They probably planned on sending the pre ii holds today.
 
does anyone know what the chance of getting an II are after being placed on hold?
 
Placed on hold as well. Very discouraging for me since I have IE ties. Currently debating on whether or not I should begin preparing for a retake of the MCAT. Not a good day for me. If I don't get in this cycle I may have to wait an additional year just to save up the money to apply again. Gotta stay optimistic and push through.
