They are pretty fast about replying if you email them to confirm! I am pretty sure 6 months is 1 semester or 2 quartersLet’s hope that 6MO is just 1 semester because taking another calc in a mini summer semester was gonna be ugly

I would think 1 semester. Plus, MSAR said prereqs need to be done by Jan 2023 anywayI was under the impression that 6 months meant just 1 semester & a year was 2 semesters.. if that’s the case wondering if people who got an ii & dont have calc can just take a summer course
Oh dang i thought everything was by matriculation, hope this doesn’t affect admissions for not completing itI would think 1 semester. Plus, MSAR said prereqs need to be done by Jan 2023 anyway
I feel like they will probably change that policy. Seems like they have been changing things around a lot.I would think 1 semester. Plus, MSAR said prereqs need to be done by Jan 2023 anyway
Yes but still a service oblication of 6 years, which is something to consider for anyone applying.... this is neither good or bad, I personally love to work for the VA overall.Again, you're missing what I'm saying. For VA HPSP, you don't SERVE in the military. You work for the VA; completely different.
they gotta make concessions if they want to fill the class with the people they wantI feel like they will probably change that policy. Seems like they have been changing things around a lot.
Was wondering the same thing. I haven't heard anything and I completed my seconary a little while ago.So last batch of interviews should be next week?
Yes, I know. But I was being specific to differentiate between the military service vs VA service requirement because some don't know and wanted the person who was asking specifics to know how the VA HPSP differs from the military HPSP.Yes but still a service oblication of 6 years, which is something to consider for anyone applying.... this is neither good or bad, I personally love to work for the VA overall.
Is anyone attending the President's Breakfast event this morning? If so, have you received the virtual link for the event?

It shouldYes. Guess I’ll see if my 1 semester of Calc keeps me in the running. March 15th is getting closer & closer.![]()
No :/Y’all get the email from Rufina?
Should I be worried if I interviewed and did not receive the email? 😬If you’ve interviewed, you should be receiving an email regarding for the prerequisites and how to list them out for school
Not necessarily. My undergrad didn't detail lec/labs in transcripts but i took them. So might depend on what your transcripts indicate.Should I be worried if I interviewed and did not receive the email? 😬
No, I fulfilled all of them.So those who have interviewed and received an email from Rufina today, based on CDUs updated prereqs, do you all not have all of them currently? I interviewed and didn't receive an email.

Yes, not everyone received an email. See the previous posts for detailsWait, did they send out an email today?
Was there an invitation for this? I didn't know about it ripIs anyone attending the President's Breakfast event this morning? If so, have you received the virtual link for the event?
Interesting. I am wondering if they have not had a chance to send out the email to everyone. OR they are only sending it to those whose prerequisites might seem unclear.Yes, not everyone received an email. See the previous posts for details
it is open to the public, anyone can attend. Was there an invitation for this? I didn't know about it rip
Same here still received the emailNo, I fulfilled all of them.
Don’t stress out! We’re all in this together, the confusion and all of it <3But, I also got an interview and did not receive an email today so I am very confused and stressed ugh
That’s interesting. How can I get more info about HPSP? Do they cover all the tuition cost plus cost of living ? What’s the pay like when you work for them? And is it similar to federal loan forgiveness programs?Yes, I know. But I was being specific to differentiate between the military service vs VA service requirement because some don't know and wanted the person who was asking specifics to know how the VA HPSP differs from the military HPSP.
Google VA HPSP to go to their websiteThat’s interesting. How can I get more info about HPSP? Do they cover all the tuition cost plus cost of living ? What’s the pay like when you work for them? And is it similar to federal loan forgiveness programs?
Too bad i don't want to go into primary care or it would be amazing for me with all my damn loans😂😭😭😭Y’all should look into NHSC scholarships also.
yeah i got one and went to a quarter system schoolI went to quarter system school. Do you think that’s why I didn’t receive the email?
Did those that receive the email attend a semester running school?
It's not about the type of system but rather how the title of the courses are written. For ex: at one school Biol 101 might be labeled as Biology I, another might have it listed as two separate courses Biology I Lec and Biology I Lab, another might have Biology I Lec/Lab. All three have labs but 1 of them doesn't explicitly state the lab part.I went to quarter system school. Do you think that’s why I didn’t receive the email?
