Any news from MD only interviewees who interviewed early October? I was told decisions will come out a month from the interview day by earliest and wondering if anyone received their decisions already.
 
Silence since early July, will they be sending II into the new year? OOS, LM 73, thanks 🙂 good luck to everyone!!
 
Any MD acceptances that anyone is aware of? Seems after a few As for MSTP 2 weeks ago, it has been total silence.
 
Does anyone know what the MSTP yield rate is like at WashU? I have an interview coming up within the next few weeks here and am wondering how deep they go into their list of 99 interviewees in terms of offers they'll send out. Is it anything like the MD-only yield rate?

This is 100% something I should stop worrying about, but I am a WashU student who didn't expect to get an interview here at all. Now that the opportunity is on the table, I really hope I can stay here for the MD-PhD haha

im actually quite curious as well, i know they MARTICULATE about 25 kids (1/4 of the class) every year but I'm not sure how many they actually ACCEPT

Absolutely. I'm rooting for you especially because I know you have cause to stay in the area long-term (unlike me, I'm just a loser who snuck in from one of the coasts and decided I liked it here). I hope you get good news soon.

Also, 25 out of 125 is 1/5 but that's still a huuuuge chunk of the entering class

I think you have a shot at hearing back from WashU in early December based on past years' MD-PhD acceptance threads. The MD-PhD program here seems to have a decision turnaround time of around one month unless they just can't make up their minds about you and usually will let you know of an acceptance or rejection by February at the latest unless you end up on their (really short) waitlist.

wow that's great to hear thanks boss. I think i did pretty bad on MSTP interview though so we will see lol, I will take the MD Only

WashU's MSTP interview is notorious; it's the entire committee in a Zoom call with you while you discuss and answer questions about a research project you've done for 20 minutes. I think it's very easy to get shaken by nerves when there are 13 faculty members in the same room.

can someone who's been accepted message me the number they were called from? I missed a call from a 314-362 number because i was asleep but they didn't leave a message 🙁
 
so i called the admissions office and they said that someone on the admissions team had wanted to get into contact with me, and will call back either today or Monday. I'm freaking out, am i in?
