Seems strange though. I figured there would be more seeing as at least one person has already gotten an acceptance.

Stony doesn't require biochem, does it?

they do now, starting with the 2015 entering class they require 1 course in biochem. they also now require 1 semester of statistics

their 10th percentile MCAT is a 29, so there are definitely sub-30 applicants getting in. good luck!

I've heard back from some top 10 schools so I don't think its my ECs or PS or LORs (at least I hope not)
But what sucks is that Stony is my top choice, I could care less about some of the more competitive schools I'm getting IIs to.

Lurked for a while so sorry for not contributing, but to report I had a four month progression:

Accepted 10/23!
Application compete: Mid July
II: 08/18
Interviewed 09/25 Impression: Conversational interviews. Basically to make sure you're the real deal, at least that is how I feel. Students seemed really friendly and more collaborative than other schools I've been to. Student guides were more knowledgable and direct with their experiences than other guides I have seen so that is a plus. New buildings are being made so that is exciting. However, I do not think the class of 2019 will be able to use them.

Nothing else is really on campus except the Hilton - it is expensive, I do agree. Other option is to stay at a hotel in NYC and LIRR it to Stony the morning of? I've heard of people doing this, though a bit of a risk. I think it'd be way better to do the Hilton and hope for the best.
