Can anybody comment on whether theres a place to leave bags? Was hoping to avoid paying a second day at the hotel.

I interviewed in Indy and a few people who brought their bags just left them at the check in table.

this might be a dumb question but for the pre matriculation check list, do I have to send a copy of my transcripts straight from my school or can/will they pull those from AMCAS?

The acceptance letter will be dated the 15th but you won’t receive days later. You might get a portal change before you receive the letter if you live outside of Indiana.

In December I got my letter on the 19th, portal update on the 20th (Indiana resident)

i asked and they said they mail to the permanent address and not the preferred on the aamc application, which is annoying bc what's the point of the preferred address then

Oh great. My family just moved this past weekend too. On USPS I updated my address so hopefully it gets forwarded to their new address

My letter was sent to my preferred address, not my permanent address, so I'm not sure about that one or if they changed policies mid cycle

Okay say it's not this Saturday. Therefore, the letter will be dated the 14th or the 18th (17th is holiday). Either way, unless you live IS or close to the state you'll receive an email about the campus selection/portal change prior to the letter.

In conclusion, folks should be hearing by next week.

Just an opinion question I guess, but realistically we only have this month and next month to hear positive news right?

I was part of one of the last interview groups. I'll try to provide as much as I can remember.

- They mentioned they'd be sending decisions through April.
- They haven't filled the class yet.
- They haven't started a waitlist yet.

This is what I've been sending people for how I made it:

first thing you wanna do is find your university ID. Literally just google "Indiana university ID lookup" and it should come up. Once you have that, google "create one.iu account". Once you got your username and password made, google for their student center. Log into that with your credentials and the status will be at the bottom of the page. Hope this helps.

I wasn't able to make a one.IU portal so I called admissions to ask about it and they said that they are having problems with inaccuracies on them so they are advising all students against making one. He also said that IUSM isn't connected to the one.IU portals at all and to just wait for it on the applicant portal or for the letter in the mail... just so everyone knows 🙁

Hate to be that guy, but is the IU one account thing not working for anybody else?

It's not working for my either...I couldn't find my ID using the lookup, and then I found the graduate ID number they gave us for the graduate app, but that didn't work either...
