hi guys, I just wanted to know what does it mean for a school to be "low yield"

It usually means that the school gets a lot of applicants and therefore a very small percent gets acceptances (i.e. imagine one school gets 10,000 apps and another gets 1,000; both accept 100 students so the first school is low-yield)
 
Also, if this works by rolling basis, how is it that someone got an interview when they submitted the secondary on 7/23 ?

Does anyone know if they're very strict on prerequisites being completed within 5 years of application? I've emailed them but haven't gotten a definitive answer on it. I have prereqs older than 5 years ago that I'm concerned would disqualify me from being considered.
 
Seeing everyones II (congrats yall btw), just wondering if I am already too late if I submit my secondary today?
 
On the tracker, someone has gotten an II from 18th submission? Does that mean they've already passed everyone from 13th to 18th? I submitted 18th so getting nervous haha

wouldn't waste too much of the springtime of youth thinking about it. latest II post in this thread was from someone who was complete 7/11, apps aren't necessarily read in 100% chronological order.

I submitted on 07/10 and haven't heard back yet -- still "under review." I wouldn't worry about it
 
Has anyone who was complete on or after 7/15/2020 received an interview invitation (with the exception of that one person from 7/23)?
 
I literally forgot to write that PA was my birth state and that I have an older sibling who literally lives in Phili on the app. Should I shoot an email to explain my ties to the state? Idk if these are too many updates? I'm taking summer classes so I update when I get a new grade

If you know you are going to update them soon re: your summer class I would kill two birds with one stone and not make these two separate updates. They should know from your AMCAS primary that you were born in PA but if you want to bring it to their attention along with the sibling thing I don't think that's a bad idea.

Before the note under the Application Complete tab said that my application was under review, but now there is a whole separate tab. I wonder if these means my app is actually currently being looks at by someone? I'm being extra neurotic today lol

what do you mean? like a new tab underneath the application category? or to the left where status and stuff is?
