I sent an email last week, but got a response that just said that VITA = "in consideration" and to ref their website (How to Apply) ... honestly i couldn't parse what it meant really :/

So I guess I'm not even in consideration lol

Is there a deadline for the VITA response? I have not done it yet, but plan to do it within the next two weeks for another school’s deadline.

Did anyone else have an issue receiving a secondary invitation? Yes, I know it is late.
Admissions told me they sent it a month ago, but I have no record of receiving it. I have a brand new email account for medical school applications and have never deleted an email. I looked in Spam and Trash just in case.

Yupp, had the same exact problem! Checked Spam and Trash, but the email was nowhere to be found even though they sent it weeks ago. Thought it was only me, but seems like it's happened to a few people. Was using a college associated email which didn't have a problem with any of the other MedAdmit portal invites except this one.

i'm kinda stressed that the interview is only 20 minutes...does this mean it's more of a vibe check LOL. how can a productive convo happen in 20 min ahhhhhhh. 20 mins is too short to make an impression imo

Have others who already interviewed had the same experience of a single, 20-minute open-file interview for reg MD?

Hi all,

I received a VITA Invite on Thursday, 10/29, and completed the VITA on Tuesday, 11/3 (had to complete it for another school by friday), and I received the real II on Wednesday, 11/4 evening.

Not sure if it was pre-screened given the turn around time, but just wanted to mention it.

I felt pretty neutral about the whole experience, to be honest. I was able to come up with answers to each question without too much trouble, but I feel like it was hard to gauge how well I did because there’s no human feedback. Just did the best I could, I guess!

Well people for some reason have been saying there is a 10 day rule based on the previous time this happened haha, I'm mostly just worried if the VITA is used as a screening tool because I felt not great about it

I haven't submitted mine yet (working full-time currently) so do you think I won't get the official II until I send my VITA in?

Right? I want to somehow let my interviewer know (that is, if I ever get an II) that I’m not the same person as I was in my VITA. lol

II just now!! Beyond excited because I'm from the area and this is a huge reach. I was complete mid July, and did VITA about a month ago for another school so I didn't receive any other notification other than the interview invite email.

In the II email, they say you must complete VITA within two weeks. I would really try to aim for no more than 2 weeks, but reach out to admissions if you're concerned?
