Dr. Yee, the associate dean of admissions, said that you can send a letter of intent, but that they don't put too much weight into them. He said people in the past have sent letters of intent and ended up at other schools, so they've stopped trusting them so much. He also noted that medical school admissions is quite a small world, so if you are going to send one, make sure you only send a letter of intent to ONE school!Has anyone who interviewed sent a letter of intent? I don’t know if that’s too extra or not
