OOS pool is maximum 10% of matriculants so you usually have to wait for someone to leave for an offer they like better.

I did not send in any LOI/update letter, so it was strictly based off of my apps, interview, etc. However, I do not think it would hurt your chances, if you decided to do so.

Suit and tie or button-down shirt (plaid, solid blue, et al.) is fine. Just not a plain-white shirt or it looks weird when they print out your school ID.

TMDSAS only requests a transcript when you have a med school acceptance. Probably a mistake in the other poster's situation because they didn't have an acceptance yet on match day.

Same situation here! I had 4 TX interviews, no match, no transcript request, but I think the transcript request thing was just a glitch

next week is when waitlist movement is expected to really begin, its not over until its over. hopefully May will bring us good news :')

@august232 Do you have a TMDSAS Match school? If yes, the last day you could be invited in from a WL is May 15th.

No match? The last day you could be invited in from a WL is technically the first day of class orientation, but I usually see WL action finished up by the first week of June.

Seeing people getting off the waitlist= bad because it isn't me getting off the waitlist

Two ways to see it. Fingers crossed. Last year, there was additional movement the week after the 5/15 deadline. Good luck everyone !
