How can I find the FB page for the upcoming class. Is it a private group where one has to be added because my real name is not my FB name? I've seen several posts on here with people referencing the group but I can't seem to find it and I'd like to join since I've decided to accept a spot in the class.

You would have received an invitation from the first year class president within the days of being accepted. I think it does post a problem if your FB name isn't your real name or your AMCAS preferred name though...I guess maybe they can email to the registered email to confirm your alias??

nothing here, but then again I never got an email for my II, it was just on the portal so I don't know what to expect. I could already be rejected and the email is just stuck in the clouds.

If it means anything, I know of at least a couple schools that are sending out acceptances <2 days before their second look.

Alright. Now it's official.

Dr. Ratts called last night around 9 pm central time and left a message asking me to call her back. I noticed about an hour later and tried calling back. I figured it was late, but if she's okay with calling at 9 pm, surely she's okay with being called back at 10 pm, right?

My call went to her office voicemail and I left a message. I watched my phone all morning and got nothing. I decided to try again around 4 pm central time. Got her voicemail again.

Finally, a bit before 6 pm central today she called again and informed me I'm accepted, should be receiving a packet in the mail, and am invited to attend second look if I can put it together on such short notice.

I'm pretty excited to have the opportunity. I had honestly stopped expecting anything from Wash U this late in the game.
