2015-2016 Saint Louis University Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Just got rejected - submitted secondary on 7/11. Good luck to everyone else!

First post on here...ACCEPTED a few weeks ago  and wondering if there is a facebook page for accepted students?

Does anyone know if they're still interviewing and if so, when the last interviews are?

When I scheduled my interview a few weeks ago, the latest date offered was Feb 22

Hi all, I am a first year SLU med student that is on the Orientation Committee! We will be planning the events for your welcome week and making sure you have the necessary info before moving to STL. We have just created a facebook group; we ask that only accepted students request to join the group. Once you request to join, we will give you instructions on how to verify your acceptance, so please check your facebook messages. Congrats on your acceptance to SLU, and we look forward to having the new class on campus!

FYI I reached out to the admission personnel and I was told that I should hear back by "this week or so." I interviewed on December 7th.

Please let me know if you interviewed on the same day I did (as a domestic student) and when you hear/heard back.

Thanks!

Rejected today 🙁 Goodluck everyone 🙂

complete july and no rejection yet but this has happened multiple times during the axe phases... (my last name is in the latter half of the alphabet so that must be why..)

I interviewed here 1/11.... any idea when I should expect to hear back? Dr. Wilmore said 6-8 weeks after interviewing but it seems like those who interviewed in early December are just now hearing back. Really loved the vibe at this school and would love to make it my home for the next four years. SLU pls love me :biglove:

I interviewed with him early Dec and got my waitlist email exactly a month after. Seems as though waitlists are sent out earlier (4-5 weeks post interview) than acceptances (6-8 weeks post interview). They told me 6-8 weeks when I asked as well.

Finally rejected. Complete late August. Really not at a loss. Good luck to everyone else

Alternate list 🙁 good luck to everyone else still waiting!

i also interviewed this date! waiting for news!!

Has anyone who interviewed in late December heard anything yet?

I apologize if this question has already been asked, because I'm sure it has, but does SLU accept letters of intent? And should they be emailed or sent via snail mail? I am on the wait list and want to express my interest in the school

idk about an exact number, but a lot of their students are OOS and they probably have a high turnover rate since they're an expensive private school and not that competitive. So, I'd think they give out a lot more acceptances then they have seats. I'm OOS and was accepted, if that helps!
When did you interview?

Waitlisted today. Interviewed 1/26.
What's the waitlist movement like? I'm just used to schools that create the waitlist after initial acceptances have been given and it seems like they are still accepting outright unless those recent acceptances have come from the waitlist.

If you don't mind telling, who did you interview with?
