2019-2020 Stanford

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
can anyone who has interviewed speak to the vibe of the day/the general experience? was it stressful doing 8-10 rounds of MMIs or was it more chill? I’ve only ever done 4 rounds of MMI so I’m kinda nervous. Any insight that doesn’t violate their confidentiality is appreciated 🙂

It was probably the least stressful MMI that I did, to be honest. You’ll be great.

If you are talking about regular MD program, there are three different schedules. I know "Applicant C's" schedule started at 10 and ended around 3:45. They emailed schedule a week before.
Interesting, good to know. Thank you!

Ooooh, true, totally forgot about that. Both A and B are 7 to 1:45, with the MMI/tour shuffled around I think @LG6AG6

Is the schedule on our portal accurate or could we get assigned a different one the week before? Trying to figure out flights! Thanks!
About a week before your interview, you get an e-mail with your assignment (1/2/3, or maybe it was A/B/C) and schedule. I don't think I had that info on the portal. If I were you, I would assume that you have to be there by 7.

Does anyone know if Stanford allows pre-II updates? I know its late but I just made a decent achievement so I wanna shoot my shot lol

Congrats to all that were accepted and good luck to everyone who interviewed!

Current medical student - let me know if you have any questions about medical school or Stanford. Hopefully, I can sway you all into thinking Stanford is the most amazing school out there!
I already believe that!

How late do they send out interview invites???

Thanks for offering your help. For those interviewed before the holidays, do they still have chance to get A, or their hope is possible WL?

Also just received the acceptance call! So happy since this school matches my professional goals perfectly and I get to move to where my girlfriend is! 😍

I interviewed on 1/10 and for Berg for those wondering

Congrats! I was one of the Berg Scholars Interviewees as well (Although I have not heard anything about Berg so far, just MD)! I am feeling very blessed and want to wish everyone still waiting the best of luck!
Don't lose hope (I never thought I could get into a school like Stanford, but I did so you can too)!

Were all those that interviewed 1/10 and got the call Berg?

I believe at this point, with the exception of TheDRFactor, everyone who said they got in after interviewing on 1/10 also said they interviewed for Berg
