Would anyone who got the happy holidays email be open to just posting what the email says?
Today (12/20) people got an email that says:
"I want to wish you all Happy Holidays! Our Admissions Committee is working diligently to get decisions to students as soon as possible. Our admission cycle will be rolling into the new year, so you can still expect to hear from us in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience. If you need to contact us for any reason, our office will be closed from end of business today through January 1st."
April 3-4!Does anyone know when second look is for those who have been accepted already? I'm trying to plan a trip in April and need to take into account just in case i get in here lol
Does anyone know if the school reopens Thursday 1/2 or Monday 1/6?
Dude I don’t even think the office doesAnyone have insight on when we’ll hear back?
I have a feeling that rejections are coming next week...Anyone have insight on when we’ll hear back?
How come?I'm thinking next Wednesday.
I never didI no longer have anything listed under "status" --> "document status"? ha... Is this the same for others?
I never did
Mine were all individual letter writers so maybe that’s why I never had itI recall, for me, it used to have a line that said the time and date of my committee letter submission from my advisor, but I could be mistaken
I just got an email about financial aid yesterday. Other than that all I've gotten is info about second lookFor those accepted, are we suppose to receive some sort of information packet on the next steps, housing, how geffen scholarship works etc.? Or is that all done in April? Thanks for the help in advance 🙂
PRIME is done interviewing already, not sure what their process is but only had 3 interview days in Nov. not sure about drewDoes anyone know if UCLA adcom also reviews Prime and Drew programs at the same time as regular MD program?
Yes and n=1 but no. Assuming I’m a prime only candidateTwo questions:
Anyone complete in July and still haven't heard any news from Geffen?
Any PRIME interviewees also interview with Geffen?
Scared to ask but.....No word yet?
Nothing yet :/ I'm not sure anyone has any insight into this at all, but if we interviewed a while ago and have heard nothing back, is there some possibility we are still being considered for a spot in the class, or is it likely a rejection?
From my understanding, the FB groups usually include current students and incoming students, so the number alone probably isn’t a good indication. Is there an admitted students FB page, and if so, how many people are in it?
(Might give us some insight on how many As they've given out//how many are left to give?)
That’s amazing!! Congrats!!!Accepted off the WL!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Wtf is going on.. i was waitlisted 12/20.
Omg Congrats!! How were you notified?Accepted off the WL!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Wtf is going on.. i was waitlisted 12/20.
omg congrats!!! call or email?OMG ALSO ACCEPTED OFF THE WAITLIST??? LOL WHY
omg congrats!!! call or email?
I'm guessing this means lots of R's(but hopefully also A's)are incoming?
So much for wishful thinking...Sorry to be so blunt about it. People who are WL have been most likely notified. The people who haven't heard back are most likely R.
both! I thought the email was a mistake tho lol but then the call specifically said that I was pulled off of the waitlist
Congrats ! Interview date ?both! I thought the email was a mistake tho lol but then the call specifically said that I was pulled off of the waitlist
Congrats! Interview date ?OMG ALSO ACCEPTED OFF THE WAITLIST??? LOL WHY
Congrats! Interview date ?
Congrats! Interview date ?Oh my goodness. I was just accepted off the waitlist too! I really hope this isn't a dream because this has always been my top choice. I'm in tears. Had to keep asking the caller if this was a mistake. Wow.![]()
Hmmm would love to see more data on this from others!Congrats to everyone who just got accepted!
There still might be some hope for those of us who haven't heard back though. Based on the UCLA main website, individuals who are given a UID either means they have been accepted or waitlisted. If you log into the portal, you might see a UID at the top right-hand corner near your name. Kind of makes sense because a university wouldn't give people who are rejected university ID's. That being said, I believe most people should have a UID because UCLA's default is to put people on the waitlist (apparently). Considering it's still so early to be pulling people off the waitlist, it's likely that those who haven't heard back are on the waitlist and that UCLA releases decisions in batches instead of all at once. It also doesn't make sense to start rejecting people post-interview without knowing exactly who is and who is not definitely attending their school.
Congrats! Interview date ?
