Interviewed in December and I am so ready to find out! idk how you September folks are surviving!
Anyone know when decisions come out?
Honestly it wasn’t so terrible, you focus on life, you interview at other schools. I mean I interviewed over 5 months ago it’s insane. Now that it is getting closer my nerves are beginning to pick up. I was beyond fortunate to have a good cycle, and I liked every school I went to. However, there is something about WCMC that I can’t shake and it feels like the place I should be. I’ve done all I could to achieve it, and if the cards fall my way I’ll be thrilled. It’s going to be a long few weeks. I wish everyone the best, cause this 15 month application cycle takes a lot out of us all.

Is it safe to assume that they’re done interviewing since they interview on Tu/Thurs and last Thursday was the last known interview Invite sent out?

Does this mean the committee met recently? Could the acceptances be coming this week/next week potentially? I'm stressing and I shouldn't be (because it's out of my hands now) but I am 🙁

They've been sending R's gradually throughout the cycle. This likely does not mean anything. Expect mid march

mmkay thanks! 🙂

Would it be too much to send a letter of intent/update after sending a supplementary rec letter in January from my PI? Interviewed in October, and I’ve a poster presentation coming up that wasn’t in the original application or the update letter from my PI

I’d save it till after you hear your initial decision.

Also did anyone who had a recent interview receive information on when the committee meets to make a final decision?

Anyone have any idea what their post interview acceptance rate might be? I'm seeing ~35% on previous posts, but i'm guessing debt-free tuition might make that number a fair amount lower this cycle.

Could you explain why you think so more? Does this only apply to wcmc or other schools too?
It’s NY. Upper east side. “top 10”. Ivy League. Debt free. Small class.

something tells me they don’t anticipate a lot of people turning that down. Especially in light of the P/F news. You can’t overshoot for much, so better to play it safe.

Edit: p/f STEP

Were they not P/F before?
