2019-2020 Dartmouth

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I called last week and they said they had just finished reviewing applications submitted by the end of July so they're probably just getting to applications submitted in August, fyi 🙂
so....does this mean if we haven't heard yet and we submitted late July we are on some sort of hold?

Complete late July and nothing but silence...

Has Dartmouth started sending out post interview rejections?

Any current students or residents wanna give a realistic description of the clinical experience here? I hear nothing but good things about the class body but I am wondering if the rural/small population of the area is worth considering?

Not a current student/ resident but when I interviewed there they explained that there are a lot of opportunities to do rotations elsewhere. Met a 4th year who was basically spending the whole year in California. Having said that they do state that the patient population there isn’t particularly diverse, except in a socioeconomic sense. The rural setting can be a good clinical learning opportunity though. I spoke to an EM resident who talked about how many crazy things they see because they’re literally the only medical center in the area.
